It's been almost a year since I broke up with Daniel, but he still keeps showing up at the door begging for a second chance.
One week ago:
"Alex PLEASE I'm sorry I did all those horrible things! Give me a second chance I promise I won't do it again!" Daniel wouldn't stop crying and trying to get everyone's attention in my apartments hall.
"For the LAST time, Daniel, YOU need to understand I broke up with you for a reason! And take these you perverted whore" I threw a box of security cameras at Daniel, who grunted and fell to the ground as he caught them. "If I catch another security camera in here again I'm calling the cops!" I slammed the door in his face and quietly listened to his weeping vanish.
Present Day:
"Why can't that guy take a hint? He has no brain cells left in that acorn people call his brain." Jackie, who I have today has been my best friend since 4th grade and have done everything together, said as she set her cup of coffee on the breakfast table. "Seriously, it's been almost a year since you dumped him and he still isn't over it? He needs to get out more."

"You're telling me. He sent me 20 text messages in the past 3 days begging for a second chance. AND, I found three more security cameras in my apartment four days ago." I sighed angrily and sipped on my scorching hot coffee, almost screaming at how hot it was, while Jackie, being the o-so helpful friend she was, laughed through the entire thing. "YOU MADE IT TO HOT AGAIN!" I cried.
"Not my fault your coffee machine doesn't work." Once she had finished wiping the tears from her eyes, she got up and squared to look under the couch and pulled out a box and set it on my lap wet with tears.
"What's this?" I asked as I opened the box and gasped, pulling out a gorgeous black ombré ball gown, shimmering in the morning sun. I pulled the entire gown out to reveal a beautiful lace masquerade mask.
"Just an outfit you will need for tonight. There is this masquerade ball I'm going to but I need to bring a friend or significant other to, and since we are best frie-" she was cut short by my death glare.
"Jackie, how many times do I have to tell you, I don't do parties or balls or anything that has to do with the outside world. I mean, I WORK AT FRICKEN HOME! I despise meeting new people after what happened last time. Not only that, but I hate that you are always forgetting to tell me something in advance so I have time to get things together." I sighed and dropped the gown and mask back into the box, handing it back to Jackie. "I know you want me to go, but I'm not."
"Actually, you're too late."
"Excuse me?"
"I already RSVP'd both of us. So, sorry but you are going. Besides," she smiled widely, "there will be a TON of hot guys there!"
"How will you know if they are all wearing a bunch of stupid masks?" I rolled my eyes, now angry that I have to go to a ball.
But who knows? I told myself. Maybe you will meet a guy better than Daniel. Oooooh perhaps a prince! Ugh, yeah right like that's actually going to happen. I'm gonna bet Jackie on that.
"Fine I'll go." Jackie smiled and jumped up and down, clapping really fast. "And I'm betting you $20 I meet a prince while we are there!" I said as I grabbed the box and went to my bathroom to get ready. "THERE IS NO WAY YOU ARE MEETING A PRINCE WITHOUT ME!" I laughed and quietly shut both my bedroom and my bathroom door to get ready for the night I know I will never forget.

HEY GUYS!!!
What do you think of my first chapter and story? Good? Bad? 1 to 10!? I myself would rate this a 6 since it's my first and I'm pretty bad at story making.
I'll tell you all right now that this story is more fantasy than it is romance although it will get very sexual around the middle/ending of this story.
