All my life I’ve only known darkness, blood, and pain....until I met her. Hikari
brought the light when ever she came to see me in my room of darkness. I never once felt “a” human connection unless it was through pain, but her,she was the first person to give me warmth and love. She also was the first one to give me a name. I was never treated like a human because of my “uniqueness”. I was always treated like a monster all my life. All my life I’ve been called demon, monster. Not her! Hikari  never called me all those hateful things.

No, she called me Aki Hideko. She said my first name meant autumn, to go with my leaf red hair, and my last name meant brightness and caring, for how nice I was to people even after what they do to me.

I would brighten up as soon as she walked into the dark room. She visited me everyday, but today her usual brightness was dampened by fear.
As I looked through the bars that kept me out of her reach, she began to speak in a quick, frightened voice. I looked at her not hearing a word she was saying for I was focused on the silent tears rolling down her cheek. She pulled out a key and noticed me looking at it with wide eyes.

She nodded her head, smiled and said “You're getting out of this dark, dark place. You’re going to see the world.”
I didn’t understand what she meant at all.I've never been out of this place, was there really more than darkness, did I really deserve it at all?

She started to giggle but she suddenly stopped when she heard footsteps and voices quickly approaching. She looked behind her. Right in front of the door stood other humans dressed in metal suits with long, sharp metal objects.
There seemed to be about five of them, and from what I could hear, there were more coming.

I looked at her with fear in my eyes, but she looked at them with anger. While I sat there in confusion, she went back to unlocking the door. One man stood out to me the most: He didn’t smell like all the other human,he smelled like a dog.As I stared at him he started to change, he went from looking like a regular human to a wolf. He stood there behind the other humans, staring right at me. I started to back away further into the darkness of my ‘room, not caring about the strange looks she was giving me.When she unlocked the door, my body felt as if it was being torn apart.

The wolf man slowly walked towards her. I tried to get up and move, but my body felt as though it was being held in place by invisible chains. He sat down slowly as if nothing was going on at all. He smiled at us and she fell to the ground. When I was finally able to move again my vision went dark.
