Happy Father’s Day
Casey,
A dad is what you are to me,
Even if I call you Casey.
I love you dad so very much
That I gave this poem a father’s day touch.
Thank you for being here for me.
Not only me, but also this family.
You stepped in and made us complete.
You teach us lessons that are such a treat.
You teach us to take pride in our work.
You show us how not to be a jerk.
You tell us that we should always be thankful.
Your lessons are so very helpful.
I only have a couple years left
Before I have to leave the nest.
I’ll take your lessons wherever I go:
Through rain, or shine, or hail, or snow.
I love you Casey so very much.
