The Chunin Exams On The Horizon

{Last Time}

Naruto stopped, before focusing wind and lightning chakra into his blade, before he made a horizontal swing, and sent a chakra wave of lightning and wind hurling through the forest, chopping down multiple trees. When it was done, Naruto looked around, and saw a pile of trees moving. The black haired Uzumaki sighed again, before he started moving giant chunks of wood, before he finally saw a female's hand, which he grabbed and pulled out, to see Anko, who seemed bruised up from his attack, "Damn it little bro, you didn't have to go that far. Not like I was actually trying to kill you." "And that was your first mistake, the second one was interrupting my sleep. Now what do you want, or was this another one of your fun sessions?" Anko started to smile, before she put Naruto in a headlock and started to ruffle his hair, "Actually, Orochimaru-Sensei wanted me to test you a little, and I have to say for that little stunt" Naruto raised an eyebrow, seeing as Anko stopped talking, "You passed. You're now officially ready for the Chunin Exams, or rather one of the firsts." Naruto raised an eyebrow at that, but paid it no more attention. It didn't matter who that person was, though he had a good guess. The Special Genin began to walk back to his apartment, before he looked up to see a full moon, 'I have a feeling things are gonna get a lot more complicated.'

{Chapter Start}

{Training Ground 7; 3 Days Before The Chunin Exams}

The entirety of Team 7 were waiting for their sensei to show, while stuck in their own thoughts of the events of their first C-Rank turned A-Rank mission. While Sauske was occupied with thinking his Sharingan would lead him to vengeance, Aumi was busy beating herself up for looking weak while Naruto was around, having needed to be saved by Fu, her self proclaimed "love rival", of all people, and focusing on how she could become stronger, and how that would win Naruto's heart.

The one lost in her thoughts the most was Fu, focusing mostly on how she lost control of herself and nearly killed one of her teammates, and had Naruto not been there. she most likely would have killed Sauske, 'Not that the duck-haired bastard didn't deserve it. He nearly got us all killed for the sake of his ego.' "As much as I agree with that statement, you kinda lost your shit back there." 'Oh don't you start with me Chomei! Ugh, I can already feel Kakashi-Sensei's next lecture when he gets here! And that's not counting Naruto when he gets the chance to talk my ears off!' "Yeesh larva, if the little fox was gonna lecture you, he would've done by now. And plus, he probably won't care." 'And how would you know that?!' "Because he's almost exactly like Kurama-nii, and he almost never reacts to anything having to do with us unless it somehow involves him, no matter how much you try. How do you think the little fox built up that immunity to your advances?" 

Fu could practically feel pout on Chomei's face, despite not seeing it. This was something she found out almost immediately after meeting Naruto, that Chomei had an obsession with flirting with the Nine Tailed Fox inside Naruto, who she found out was named Kurama, and what made even weirder was that they referred to each other as brother and sister, though only Chomei showed interest in Kurama, and not the other way around. Fu didn't have a problem with Chomei's flirty attitude towards the Nine Tailed Fox, since she kinda did the same with Naruto and especially with Aumi, but it didn't make it good that she had to hear about Chomei wanted to "Test Kurama's seemingly endless stamina in the sheets."

Team 7 were taken out of their own worlds when they saw their sensei had finally arrived, greeting them with his usual laid back eye smile, "Hey there, sorry I'm late an old lady asked me to help her with-" "OH STUFF IT!!" as per usual, Kakashi showed up late and was yelled at by the girls of his team, which made him chuckle nervously, before taking out three slips of paper, "In all seriousness, I do have something to give each of you. These are participation slips for the Chunin Exams that are in a week. If any of you plan to enter just show up with these signed." the jounin had his team a slip each, with Sauske and Aumi looking a bit confused at what Kakashi said, while Fu looked excited, "Aw hell yeah! I've been waiting for these Exams! I'm gonna crush them!!" "What are you on about bug brain? What's so special about an Exam, besides the fact we can most likely become Chunin?"
