[Name] lives in a world were monsters are allowed to roam as long as they stay out of human expanse.
She was a short emo girl that always stood in the back with a dull stare. She had no fire in her soul ever since her parents deserted her when she was 1. Her foster parents tried to take up for her real parents not being there for her, but it was no use.
One day while she was sitting alone at a table reading a Harry Potter book and eating her homemade lunch she overheard some popular girls talking about a new group of students coming to attend the school.

"I heard that the three boys are really cute and the girl that is with them is sexy?"

"I hope I get asked out by one of them!!"

[Name] sighed and went back to reading. It was her junior year and she hasn't had a boy or girl ask her out. She could care less about who asked her out as long as they were true and loving, she would love them back.

[Name] walked home and noticed four moving trucks in front of the next door houses.

'That must be them, just my luck.'

She sighed again and walked into her house and started on her homework not knowing she had caught the attention of a certain male.

Larry and Sal lived side by side. Ash, Tod, and Neil lived on the other side of the street.
Larry was carrying a box into his house when he caught the scent of a nearby female. He looked around before spotting the [h/c] girl standing on the sidewalk in front of a house. He was assuming that she was his neighbor and eyed her. She was slim and curvy.
He could help himself and caught him started to stare more and more until Sal snapped his fingers.

"Dude she left."

"Huh?!"

Sal picked up a box and Larry walked with him.

"The girl, she is our neighbor? What if she goes to our school?!"

"Woah dude chill, wolf....ears...showing?"

"Oops.."

Larry tried to bend his ears back and hide them under his hair again. All five of them, Ash, Sal, Larry, Tod, and Neil were monsters.
Ash was a vampire. She was the one struggling all the time due to constant sunburns.
Sal was a gorgon. Larry called it typical because Sal wore a mask and it was a funny joke to call him the son of Madusa.
Larry was a werewolf. He had trouble keeping his ears and tail hidden because they like to spring out when he was showing heavy emotions.
Tod was an ocean nymph and Neil was a siren. Tod keeps Niel's songs from reaching humans ears with a necklace placed around Niel's neck at all times until they go to the beach or until they are home alone.
Their parents knew they were breaking the law but they wanting to rebel against the law in order for their children to become more humane.
Larry finished unpacking and asked Sal if he wanted to go say hi to the neighbor but Sal bailed out because he was still unpacking his room.
Larry walked over by himself and rung the doorbell.
[Name] woke up from her short nap to answer the door. Her hair was down to her shoulders and her shirt was hanging off one shoulder.
