Taehyung slung his backpack over his shoulder casually, his hands in the pockets of his hoodie. His hair brushed comfortably against his face and the sides of his head and he breathed in the sweet, warm air of Korea. His home, for 19 successful years. Taehyung had a spring in his step this morning and a smile was etched onto his smooth, unblemished face. The corners of his eyes crinkled and his lips almost formed a heart as he grinned. His hands folded together within his pockets, Taehyung headed the rest of the distance to the university he attended. The air was especially calming this morning, the air inviting and almost vanilla scented as the newly bloomed cherry-blossom trees spread their wonderful fragrance around the large campus. Hongik University, where he now mostly spent his time. There were adolescents everywhere, either skateboarding along the sheer rises around the walls of the school, gossiping amongst their friends with shoulder-shaking snickers, practicing for band and letting their lovely music filter through the comfortable vibe of the college, or just hanging out under the many trees and talking amongst each other whilst valuing the shade. Taehyung got many 'hello's from passing students, too many for him to count at this point; charmingly waving at a few young ladies who blushed at his arrival.
One of them jogged to catch up with Taehyung and cleared her throat gently to get his attention, adjusting her necklace so the expensive rhinestones were showing and pulling her brown hair over one of her slim shoulders. "Kim Taehyung, yes?" She asked with a shade of pink dusting her cheeks.
"Yes, that's me. And what's your name, beautiful?" Taehyung teased, acknowledging that again his charms had worked as the pink on the student's pale face deepened.
"Ji-Hye." She responded quietly and lifted her red face to meet eyes with Taehyung, a smile creeping onto her thin lips.
"Well, have a fantastic day, Ji-Hye." Taehyung lightly took the girl's small hand and gave it a quick kiss, letting go and walking off to leave her with a stunned and embarrassed expression.
Taehyung pushed open the large glass doors to the theatrical arts building, receiving more greetings and comfortably sending them back. He entered his first class, taking his seat in the dimmed lights of the theater and removing a piece of paper from his backpack. An elderly man stood on the vast stage, calling out with a strong voice to the hundreds of students surrounding him, north, east, and west. As the lecture of ancient 'theatre', as his professor had called it, began, Taehyung's pencil easily moved across the paper. This was going to be a good day, and he knew it.
