As the door opened, her hair fell behind her back. She seemed content, but nervous; the next hour would determine the fate her life held with this magical person. It felt like the starting moment of all of those telenovela's she had watched her entire life. Her first instinct was to hug her, but with the tension in the air, she knew it wasn't the time. As she sat down on the chair, she felt the shift. The shift, as every writer knows, is the moment when everything changes. And this was that moment for her. She knew no matter what happened tonight, she would never forget it. And when she saw her, her dark brown hair swept back and her clothes perfectly picked, she couldn't help but blush. As any writer will tell you, romance writers often elaborate certain events. But there was no way that this event could be elaborated,l because it was already the most perfect thing to have ever happened to her. Between the cake, the scenery, and of course, the person, she could t help but smile. There was no way she could stop smiling. And that's how she knew that this was the perfect first date she had ever been on. But as she is writing this, she also knew that her story could not be told this way. Diaries always held more emotion than narration to her. So, as she sits in her chair writing this beautiful love story, she decided to stop narrating her own story and tell it as truthfully as she could: from her diary.
