"Well,well Hansen.I didn't expect you and emo boy to be soulmates."Jared said at lunch,I nearly choked on my salad."Ho-How did y-yo-"he cut me off,"you complimented the color of my jacket."he said.i looked down,"Hey,it's not so bad.Look,there he is now!"Jared said.i looked up and saw Connor,I smiled.he saw me and subtly smiled,he walked up to our table."Ev wanna go somewhere fun?"he asked,"Kinky."Jared whispered.Connor glared at him,Jared gulped.i smiled,"S-Sure!"i said.he held out his hand,I got up and held it.
"W-Wh-Where are we going?"I asked,he put on sunglasses."The pool."he replied,"B-Bu-But we're not allowed in the pool."I reminded him.he looked at me,"We're not going to the pool in the school."he said.i was confused,but then I wasn't the minute we walked out of school.we must be going to a public pool,I put wrapping on my cast and put on swim shorts that Connor brought.he jumped into the water,but I was hesitant."Come on Ev!the waters just right!"he said,smiling.i was nervous,"I'll catch you."he said."P-Pr-Pro-Promise?"I asked,he nodded.i took a deep breath and jumped into the pool,i was under water with Connor.we then had our first kiss,like in that Leonardo DiCaprio movie!
We swam up for air,"T-Th-That was cool!"I exclaimed.Connor smiled and kissed me again,"I love you."he whispered.i looked at him,smiled,and said"I love you too."we then swam a bit more for a while before leaving.
