Geeks at First Sight

(( A/N ~ This is a Homestuck reader insert. You can insert yourself or whoever you want to in this. I'll finish it later, when I get motivation. If people are cool about it and want me to finish, no problem. :3 So yep. Here it is. ))

"Okay class, I'd like to introduce a new student," Miss Maryam announced. Murmurs bounced through the room. *Boy or girl?* *General Education or Advanced?* *Human or Troll?*

As these whispers slightly died down, a girl entered the room with a shy smile. The boys' jaws dropped, and the girls rolled their eyes.

Sollux, a troll with short black hair, four horns, four fangs slightly protruding from his mouth, 3-D style glasses to match his solid red-and-blue eyes, wearing a Gemini shirt, black jeans, and two different shoes: one black and the other white, looked up at the new girl and smiled. She grinned in return, the kind of smile that said, "We could totally be friends", the kind of smile that made Sollux melt.

"Please introduce yourself; First and last name and one thing about you," Miss Maryam instructed. The girl nodded and turned her attention to the class, but focused on Sollux.

"My name is __________ ________________, and I love working with computers." She said proudly. Sollux beamed. Another tech? Sweet!

"Oh, that's wonderful! Okay, well the only empty seat is... Next to Sollux," he waved, "Perfect! He likes computers, too! Okay, ___________, go ahead to your seat." She nodded, taking her seat beside Sollux. As soon as she sat down, he handed her a note. It read;

'do you happen two thiink ii'm cute iin any way..?'

Under the writing, there were two boxes. One said 'ye2' while the other said 'no'.

She giggled quietly and looked over at Sollux, whose face had taken on a slight shade of yellow.

Checking the 'ye2' box, she quickly scribbled out a question.

'Sollux, are you blushing~? <3 Because it's pretty cute..'

She handed it back to him and smiled broadly when she saw his face take on a darker shade of yellow. She recieved the note again in seconds.

'ye2 ii'm blu2hiing.. yellow ii2 my blood color.. 2o.. uh.. want two hang out after 2chool today?'

She looked up and saw him watching her, so she beamed and nodded.
