It was the same song we used to play during our "promising hour" well you know those wee hours when you and your spouse,on bed,under the duvet.....but as per now i couldnt even sing to the lyrics.Well i was sitting in my aging parent's living room,tears flowing wondering what did i do with my life.At 35 am back with my 2 kids,no house,no job,no savings,no investments,no husband I mean am nothing...The Husband i was married to for 8 good years had broken my every piece......
The Guy i gave my whole life to had "killed me"..
This is what happend...
I met this guy right after campus I was 23 at that time fresh from campus...He was working as a HR in a certain company.We bumbed into each other as i was staying with my mom's younger sister...That day she had sent me to withdraw some cash from her account in the bank since she had just given birth the previous week,she couldn't manage,so at the bank thats where we met..It was love at first sight.
He was masculine,well kept moustache,was in a fitting suite weuh!!!!! The voice itself made me have goosebumps,that deep voice with a well spoke English..He was a well presented guy every mother-in-law would wish to have....
Thats where we met with that monster.....
After waiting for an hour or two(These bank Cashers sometimes think they have accomplished alot😏)I was done and ready to go home....So on my way to the stage i heard someone calling from behind,"Excuse me Madam"....As i looked back guess who i saw!?Yes the handsome had seen earlier inside the bank hall....
Him:Hello,You dropped this(handing me my ID)
Me:Thank You,i didn't notice i had dropped it(I started walking towards the stage)
Him:Excuse!My name is sam

Sam:Pleasure to meet such a beautiful Lady,would you mind if I take you for lunch(looking at his watch)Its already lunch hour
Me:Well am rushing home got alot of things to do(Well lemmie be honest,i really wanted to go out on a lunch but i didnt want my Aunty to start worrying...who would turn down such an offer from such a gentleman)
Sam:No worries,Can i have your number,maybe We go for coffee some other time..
Me:😂😂(My heart was pounding very fast,I was used to campus fuckboys,i had yet come across such a gentleman)
And puff i gave out my number and rushed home....
Thats how i met This guy,the father of my 2 kids,my husband whom had slept with for 8 good years,the guy who took my virginity,my money,my investmate and left me at 35 with nothing back to my parent's home..
On arriving at home,I gave my auntie the money had withdrawn and went inside my bedroom....Although my auntie was concerned why i took long and i was like"Auntie kwani hujui vile bank kunakuanga na line alafu nimepatana na casher mwingine hapo roho chafu"😂 she calls me to go and warm the food....well after we had lunch i went inside and laid on the bed ofcos fantasizing about Sam... I could check if he had texted or called me😂 anyway I was just 23 fresh from Campus,having done my Degree in IT i was now job hunting and i really needed a job to support my parents and siblings...
It was the fouth month since i came to stay with my auntie in Buruburu and i was helping her wiyh house chores since she was a first time mom...
Well time flew,we could chat till late night even thoug he had to wake up @ 4am to prepare to work,he could call for hours,we could go on lunch,dinner dates,picnics,road trips all that.After 3 months of dating,,,yes i said 3 months😂how you vibed me and got myself inside your box i dont know but the good thing the love was mutual,you didnt have to go after me..
So when i got a Job in top IT company i was so happy,i remember how i called to break the good news to Sam
I started my new job,did my best...My life was running smoothly
With a job,a love life,helping my parents,siblings and saving what more could i ask from God..
Every month i was receiving a fat cheque so i moved out and rented a one bedroom house in South B.....Sam had wanted to help me with the rent but eish!!!My miss independent EGO was 99.9%.
Life went on well got promotion before my first year in that job ended,Sam proposed to me after dating for 8 months....things happend so fast,his people came and met my people,the ruracio thing and finally the wedding...
@ 25 I had wedded in a white wedding,I had been promoted and i was HOD in our IT depertment,i was been paid well and i had applied for Masters,evening classes,my husband had also had been promoted and he was now a MD
