Marauders one shot

No one's POV
"You're being ridiculous! A Thestral would absolutely win!" Sirius said as he stared at his best friend from his bed on the opposite side of the room from. "Are you kidding me? A Hippogriff is way bigger and way stronger. A Thestral is all skin and bone, it'd snap like a twig on the first kick!" James said as he got off of his bed and walked over to sit next to his friend. "Oh please. It wouldn't even be able to see it. It can't snap if it doesn't get hit, Prongs." Sirius said hitting James on the shoulder , James laughed at the response. "They're Hippogriffs, Pads, they're obviously seen death before. They have to kill in order to eat. It would totally see-" "wait, guys do you hear that?" Remus said, cutting James off as he sat up to look at his friends. "What - " Sirius started to say but he was cut off by Remus as well. "Shh! Listen!" He said, James and Sirius looked around as they listened for what their friend kept hearing. But they heard nothing. "I don't hear anything." James said as he mentally questioned Remus' sanity. "I know. It's glorious. Go to sleep morons." Remus said, Peter who had been trying to fall asleep as well raised his hand and said "I second that." "but neither of us are tired." Sirius said as James yawned, "GO. TO. SLEEP." Remus and Peter shouted at the same time. James got up and went back to his own bed and the two went to sleep. "They're going to be the reason we die one day aren't they?" Peter asked, I sighed and laid back down. "Yup." All four of us said at the exact same time before we slowly, one by one drifted off to sleep.
