Who is right?
Who is wrong?
Can't we settle
These childish disputes
With words
Not swords?
"I love you
So I must hit you
Berate you
For being yourself
It matters
Because it makes me uncomfortable, obviously"
"Why can't you see that?"
We get along, sure.
So let's write, read, recite
For today is a day of flowery words
And let's rejoice
For today is a day like tomorrow, with a rising sun
To say, "Good morning."
