On a warm summer day, I was walking to school I paused, the most popular guy in school was standing in front of me. He said kindly "I sorry I'm in your way." I told him "It's okay" and we didn't speak for the rest of the day.. or so I thought. We got new seating arrangements I had to sit next to Dustin but my friend Anna was acting strange I ask her why she was looking at Dustin and I, she responded with "I'm looking at my shiiiiiip and don't screw it up!" Me and Dustin turned red In the face. Then I mouth the words I'm gonna kill you later" still red in the face. We carry on with are day as usual I went home that night thinking if maybe I do have a chance with him? I'll see what happens at school tomorrow.
It's Thursday the next day we found out that it was our annual school dance at school next Friday. As usual, I didn't have a date, it's been like this for a while now. I soon find out Dustin is asking someone out, no one knew who it was but we soon found out who it was at lunch, everyone was shocked about who it was, I couldn't believe it, it was me! I was confused and excited all of these things were happening I did not know what to do I looked over at my friend Anna she siad "say yes or I will kill you literally" so worried that I will die I say yes and he siad I've loved ever since 5th grade. I looked at him and then my friend siad "kiss him already" I was about to say something but before I could even say one word before he kissed me. I looked at the "popular Girls" they were mad AF and I laughed and showed Dustin he laughed to and we carried on with are day. I dreamt about that dance all night I couldn't wait till the day of that dance.
It was the next day I saw him and he was talking to his friends and he was telling his friends about what he was gonna do at the dance. I went to sit with my friend she looked at me and siad "can I help you pick out your dress?" I accepted and she wouldn't stop talking about all of these dresses she had seen. Dustin came over to me and said "are you nervous about the dance next Friday?" Yes I siad nervously he went on to say "don't worry your beautiful no matter what." I blushed my friend was probably about to scream because of how cute of a couple we were. My friend went on to say "My little baby is all grown up... but if say one mean uncalled for comment YOUR DEAD."
