Skyler climbs higher and higher, so high, that the tree branches begin to crack under her weight. She woke up today, and felt dreary, not able to smile or even smirk. Skyler needs the fresh air and her rest, today, so, she'd take her rest today... for her own sake.

"There you are," a voice Skyler does not expect here, speaks up. The brunette's eyes widen, and she falls down her branch, catching herself in time. Skyler hangs upside down, her knees bend around the tree's arm, looking at Loki angrily.

"Why, thank you, for the announcement of the visit, uncle," Skyler growls, then eyeing the elongated package that her uncle holds in his hand. Weird, she thinks with one eyebrow raised.

You haven't closed your thoughts off, like we had discussed, Loki says in her head scolding, before laughing out loud.

"Come down, young lady, I need to have a serious talk with you," the God jokes, before laughing harder as Skyler's head is slowly turning a bright colour of red because of the blood that goes through her head.

"Yeah, right," Skyler mutters, swinging back and forth. She sits down on the tree branch and climbs up again to get her bag, when her uncle calls for her.

"Leave the bag for a minute, you can get it later," Loki yells, and Skyler has a suspicious feeling that he knows something she doesn't – but that is obvious, because he knows so much more than Skyler does, considering he is thousands of years older than she is.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" Skyler asks curiously, once she is on the ground.

"Well, I talked to Dumbledore," Loki starts, "and we've made an agreement about it already, so you cannot bail on it." The God begins to walk a little, in the direction of Hagrid's hut, in fact.

"What are you talking about?" Skyler says, catching up with him, turning around and walking backwards, her eyes glued to Loki.

"Have you noticed that we haven't celebrated your birthday properly anymore since your eleventh?" Loki speaks up, his eyes gleamed with a sad mood. Skyler shrugs slightly, not really bothered.

"I never actually had time to realise it..." she states, "more important things to worry about."

"Well, you're seventeen now, and we haven't even properly celebrated your birthday... so," Loki holds out the package in his hands to her, and just as Skyler reaches out for it, an unbelievably loud sound erupts from behind her.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

Skyler screeches and jumps up, going into some weird kind of Kung Fu stance, turning around, seeing most of the Avengers and two of her friends from Hogwarts standing there. Somewhere in the back of her head, Skyler wonders where the others are, yet she doesn't mind... Theo and Blaise are here, and that brightens a lot up already, actually.

"Holy shit!" Skyler sighs scared to hell.

"We're going to scare you more often, Sky," Blaise laughs, "your face is great when you do."

"I dare you, Zabini," she replies with a growl. Theo quickly steps forward to help out his friend, a big, green box in his hands.

"Happy 15th birthday!" They chorus together. Skyler smiles at her friends and eyes the box curiously, one hand delicately pulling at one string of the silver bow. Skyler lifts up the box's top, revealing a cage with a beautiful barn owl inside.

"He's beautiful!" Skyler gasps, taking the cage from the box, staring at the owl, a little shocked.

"It's a she, actually," Blaise says in a tiny voice, receiving a playful glare from Skyler. The princess puts down the cage and hugs both Slytherin boys, before pecking each of them on the cheek.
