"Peggy, do you ever look at someone and feel like you know them?" Peggy shrugged.

"I guess. Why?" John glanced around.

"There's this girl. She seems familiar, like I know her, but I don't know from where." He subtly motioned to the girl ahead of them. Peggy squinted at her.

"Hmm. She's cute." The girl turned around.

"Aw, thanks! So are you, Peggy!" The girl smiled brightly. Peggy turned a light shade of pink. The girl turned to John.

"John, right? John Laurens?" John nodded. The girl brushed a strand of hair out of her face. "I think we went to middle school together." John's eyes widened.

"Y-yeah. Um...." He snapped, trying to remember her name.

"I'm K-"

"Don't tell me! Uh....Kathy?" The girl then blushed. In truth, her name was Katherine, Katie to most. But maybe this was what she went by when she was 12? She had blocked out most of middle school, 6th grade year, to be precise. She had switched schools for 7th grade.

She nodded and John smiled victoriously.

"You should come see everyone!" Peggy exclaimed. Katie shrugged.

"Why not?" Peggy grinned and grabbed Katie's hand. She led Kathy to their apartment complex, while John tried to keep up with their extremely unnatural 'fast walk'.

By the time they were at the Schuyler's apartment, Peggy had caught Katie up on her life and vis versa.

"Guys!" Peggy called, kicking open the door. Angelica glared at her, and Eliza paused the TV.

Katie gave a small smile, remembering both girls-from Peggy's stories and middle school. "Hey."

Eliza smiled brightly. "Hi! I'm Eliza." Angelica gave a small wave.

"Angelica." John stood awkwardly in the doorway behind them. Katie turned back to him, bringing him forward. Eliza nodded in greeting. "This is Kathy, from 6th grade." John introduced. Angelica raised a brow in question.

"So, I was thinking, we should invite everyone over. Reminisce." Peggy explained. Katie and Angelica locked eyes, before Katie looked away with a small blush. "John, call the guys. Tell 'em to bring drinks." John pulled out his phone and did as told.

Angelica patted the spot next to her on the couch, looking at Katie. Katie hesitantly sat next to her. "I remember you, Katie. How could I not?" Katie's eyes widened. So, John just remembered her name wrong. Angelica sighed. "I was devastated when you moved, Katie. The letters were sent back to me, and there was a new family in your house. The Washington's." Katie looked down in guilt.

"What happened?" Angelica asked. Katie could hear the sadness and anger in her voice. It was painfully obvious to her she had unintentionally hurt this woman deeply.

"I had to leave," Katie whispered, "I moved in with Aunt Caroline." Katie had introduced the two, so Angelica knew who she was talking about.

"I remember when I dressed you up all fancy. Heh." Angelica laughed softly. Katie looked up at her.

"I'm sorry, Angie. Really." Angelica covered Katie's hand with her own.

"At least Eliza found Alexander. He was the Washington's adopted son, and is now the love of her life." Kathy intertwined their fingers.

"They're on their way!" John called, breaking the two out of their trance. Eliza and Peggy were animatedly discussing plans for tonight's party while going through their supplies. John glanced at them and decided not to join them. Katie glances at the TV.

"To All the Boys I've Loved Before?! This is my one of my favorites!" She exclaimed. John gasped dramatically.

"I love that movie!" Katie turned abruptly to face him, her and Angelica's hands coming undone.

"What about Straight from The Heart?" John shook his head.

"Never seen it." He replied.

"You're missing out. I actually have the DVD at my place. It's a Hallmark." John grinned.

"We should totally watch it tonight!" John exclaimed. John eagerly nodded. Angelica turned off the Tv, not saying another word, for fear her voice may give way to her emotions. Being around Katie tended to do that to her.

Katie turned back to Angelica. "Want to watch with us?" Angelica glanced between the two.

"Maybe. We'll see." Katie frowned, her eyes searching Angelica's face. Their eyes locked and Katie's bore into Angelica's inquisitively. Angelica shook her head slightly, causing Katie to turn to Peggy and Eliza.

"What- "She was cut off by the door being flung open once again. 2 men immediately started talking to John, while the other approached Eliza. Katie classified them by their looks-the tallest as Lafayette, the one an inch shorter as Hercules Mulligan, and the shortest as Alexander Hamilton-Washington.

"Who is this?" Lafayette had a heavy French accent. Everyone was looking at Katie.

"That's Kathy, from 6th grade." John explained. Lafayette smiled.

"Ah, yes! Bonjour, mon ami Katherine!" Katie waved.

"Hey, Laf. Hey, Herc." She used their nicknames. Hercules waved back. Katie pointed to Alexander. "That's Alexander Hamilton?" John nodded.

"Yeah." Alexander then turned to them. His eyes scanned over them, resting on Katie. He walked over.

"Alexander Hamilton." He introduced. Katie held back a laugh.

"Katherine Parnell." Angelica warned Alex with her eyes. He had a tendency to flirt with every girl he set eyes on, sometimes the boys to, but they were harder to woo. Katie didn't even acknowledge his tone. "You're with Eliza, right?" He glanced at Eliza.

"Yes." He was confused. He had never met this woman, but she seemed to know him.

Katie leaned in close. "Watch yourself, "she leaned back, "cool. Nice to meet you, Alexander." Angelica smirked at him. She was close enough to have heard Katie, and was grateful that she said something without causing a scene. Alexander, on the other hand, seemed confused but flustered. He nodded, mumbling a "You too."

Peggy ran up to Hercules. "Did you bring the drinks?" Hercules brandished a bag of alcohol. Katie inhaled sharply. She glanced back at Angelica, but it was clear she didn't remember.

"Perfect! Truth, Dare, or Shot, y'all!" Everyone groaned. "Oh shush! It's the perfect get-to-know you game!" Katie clenched her trembling hands into fists. No one seemed to notice. They gathered into a circle on the carpet around the coffee table and placed a shot glass in front of everyone. Katie stared at hers. By now, she was struggling to control her breathing. Hercules filled the glasses.

"Okay. Alex, truth or dare?" Alexander smiled smugly.

"Dare, of course." Peggy grinned.

"At midnight tonight, streak around campus." There were snickers all around. Alexander rolled his eyes and downed a shot. Katie lost it. Her body shook, her breathing as labored, and her vision was unfocused. She could no longer hear anything, and barely saw the crowd now surrounding her. The last thing she remembered was the hands reach out for her.
