Forever and beyond

1. Confused? Confused.

(P.o.v- Rose)

Yesterday...
All I could do now is keep thinking about how eventful a
day yesterday was... well, not everything about yesterday was bad. It
was the day Ross, my childhood crush till a few months ago, finally
asked me out. I, on the other hand, had gotten over him.
It was also yesterday that I rejected him in front of the whole cafeteria. I dreaded going to school today as I would have to face the rest of my friends and also Ross in every class and it was not going to look good on me as the story would have spread like wildfire all over the school.

Beeeeeeeeeeeep

There goes the alarm.....
"Do I go? Do I stay? Do I go? Do I stay? Do I go? Do I stay? Do I go? Do I stay?"

Was all that was running on my
mind right now. I was snapped out of my deep thinking by a knock on
my door.

"Come in" I sigh.

"Why aren't you dressed for school yet Rose?" typical mum question.

"I don't think I'll go today mum..."

"Get out of that bed right now honey.... today is the last day of the
semester and we are leaving tonight to your aunts in London!"

Wait a second! Did she say London? And that too to my aunts place?

"Aunt Laura?" I questioned cautiously.

She rolls her eyes before replying "Of course honey! Do you know any
other aunt of yours living in London?!"

Screw that it so slipped out of my mind! Aunt Laura was my mum's
sister and they have a long history (not much on the healthy side).
"Now get off that bed Rose and get ready for school" she said before
drawing back my curtains letting the sun light to pour freely into the
room and walking out like it's no big deal.

Groaning, I got out of bed and stepped in for a quick shower.

"ROSE GET HERE RIGHT NOW"

Oh crap! I totally forgot that I had to drop off my sister at her school
before anything else this morning!

Stepping out of the shower, I quickly dressed up and ran down,
grabbing a sandwich off the breakfast table and hurrying through the
front door to meet my fuming sister.
"What took you so long Rose?" Anna's calm question scared me more
than if she had yelled at me.

"Sorry Anna girl" I smiled trying to make light of the situation.
"It's alright Rose!" she... smiled?

Wait..... Isn't she annoyed at me for
getting late on the last day of school? Well.... what are we coming to
these days?!

I smiled wearily at her and got into my car and bucked up while Anna
ran into the house one last time to tell mum we were leaving.

"What got you into this mood Anna?" I questioned carefully knowing
one wrong move could set her into a fit.

She was an angel but she had her demonic side as well and she prefers
to show me this side than to anyone else since we were quite close to
each other. We shared everything, from the latest gossips to the small
mars bar one of us would have. She was my best friend since forever and
likewise with her. It's nice to have sisters who are close to you in age
and every other aspect like the clothing and fashion senses, tastes in
boys *wink wink*.
