Clarke arrived at the place where Lennox had told they were. The team got out of the rover and approached the building with their guns ready in their hands.

As the door opened, Clarke was met face to face with Echo. "What are you doing here, Clarke?" She spoke, saying her name like it was pure trash.

"I know you have them, Echo," Clarke said, locking eyes with Echo without showing emotion on her face.

Echo stared at her for a second, and Clarke wondered if she was surprised or just thinking about the next thing to say. She could feel the rest of the group behind her, scanning the room.

Clarke furrowed her eyebrows as Echo started smirking. Echo nodded slightly, and before anyone could react, grounders stormed to them from the dark and tied everyone except Clarke. A tall man grabbed her hands tightly behind her back.

Another came forward, holding Bellamy. His hands were tied. Clarke looked at him immediately, and all different kinds of emotions were rushing around in her body. Happiness, relief, sadness, anger, fear.

"What do you want, Echo," Clarke said through gritted teeth.

"I told you this was gonna work," Echo spoke to another man who had stepped up beside her. "As long as we got him, she'll do anything."

Clarke felt anger through her whole body, and most of all she wanted to rip Echo's head off.

But she kept her cool.

The man holding Clarke led her into a room, followed by Echo and a few of the others. The room was filled with beds and mattresses. Clarke looked around at all the people on them, they all looked sick or hurt.

The guards put the others down on the ground in a line. They placed Bellamy separated from the others, and closer to Clarke, but not near close enough for her to touch him.

"That is our healer," Echo pointed to a man with a beard on the bed closest to them. "Since he's badly injured, he can't help all of the others," Clarke followed Echo's eyes around the room, looking at all of the others. About 9 in total.

"What do you want me to do?" Clarke asked, still angry.

"I want you to help them. All of them. For each one that dies, one of them dies too," Echo continued and pointed to all the people that had followed Clarke and the ones that had been with Bellamy when they were kidnapped.

Clarke felt her heart begin to beat faster as she realized what Echo was saying. "And if he dies," Echo pointed to their healer again. "He dies." This time her blade pointed at Bellamy.

Bellamy caught Clarke's eyes, and Clarke felt like her heart was about to jump out of her chest.

She took a long breath before the guard holding her released his grip on her hands and pushed her forward.

"I'll do it," Clarke began, facing Echo. "But I can't do it alone, I need someone else to help too."

"I will do it! I can help," Bellamy looked at Echo, trying to sound compelling. Echo nodded again, and the guard that had been holding Clarke cut Bellamy loose.

They gave each other a saying glance. Clarke wanted to hug Bellamy, just for him to take her in his arms, but she knew it wasn't the time for that. Not yet. First, she had to save his life and all of the others.

They began taking care of all of the injured and sick grounders, starting with the worst.

While Clarke was fumbling, trying to find the right knife for a woman. She heard Bellamy behind her.

"Clarke..." He said seriously.

"Just give me a moment I just have to-" She was cut off by Bellamy's voice repeating.

She turned around to look at the woman. There was no pulse. No breath.

Clarke's breath increased, and her eyes met Bellamy's as he put his hand on her shoulder.

One of the guards already stood with a blade pressed against the first person in the line. "Please don't," Clarke begged, looking at Echo.

The guard slit his throat, and a tear rolled down Clarke's cheek.

Bellamy could see on Clarke's face that the guilt took over her whole body. He wanted to just pull her in tightly and let her cry on his shoulder as much as she wanted to, but he couldn't do that.

"Alright, Echo, it's done." Clarke turned around, looking at the bitch with the dark hair.

They waited for a few silent moments before Echo spoke. "Cut them loose."

They were all pushed out the door which was then closed shut behind them.

They found the rover Clarke and the others had arrived in and headed home quickly.

When they got to the gate, people gathered around once again. It was all dark, and it was in the middle of the night.

Abby pulled Clarke into a hug, sighing with relief. "I wanted to send someone after you, I wanted to go myself, but they wouldn't- they..."

They broke the hug and Clarke smiled slightly at her mom. "Hey, mom. It's okay," She assured her.

Abby smiled at her daughter, and send her to get some sleep.

Clarke met Bellamy on her way to her tent. Okay, she wasn't on her way to her tent, she was looking for him.

No words were needed when they found each other. They embraced each other in a tight hug. Bellamy wasn't sure for how long they were standing there, but he didn't want to let go, and Clarke didn't let go either.

"I'm just glad nothing happened to you," Clarke spoke as they finally broke apart.

Bellamy looked down before looking back up to meet Clarke's eyes.

Clarke wasn't exactly sure what it was, but at that moment, with Bellamy in front of her, safe, and with the light from the moon reflecting in his eyes and his small smile spreading on his lips, she felt something.

She couldn't explain it, and it made her confused.

She had trouble falling asleep thinking about the moment. Her head was spinning around even when she tried to shook it off.
