Clarke's POV
The past few days had been rough. Not that anything particularly exciting had happened, but I barely slept at night. I had nightmares, I had always had them so it was nothing new. The difference was just that now all of my nightmares were about Bellamy being killed. The dreams changed, but the concept of them was always the same.
I couldn't save him. It was all up to me, and I couldn't save them. They killed everyone I knew one by one, and left him as the last one, before finally killing him too. I usually woke up repeatedly, gasping for air.
I would try to just stay awake, but sometimes, sleep overcame me, and I fell asleep again, only to wake up a few hours later with the same nightmare.
I knew my brain and body wasn't functioning well, but I had duties to do. The nightmares would go away. Eventually.
It was always a relief to see Bellamy and all of the others in the morning. I hadn't told any of them about it, it wasn't necessary when they would disappear soon anyway, so I didn't want to worry anyone.
I went over to medical to help my mother with some injured. It wasn't anything bad, so everything went pretty well. There was just too many, so I offered to help with some of them.
I was only there a couple of hours, and I didn't have much else to do.
"Hey," I felt someone grab my arm when I was on my way to get some food.
I turned around to face Bellamy with his freckle covered face and furrowed eyebrows, making his expression seem serious. I stopped in my tracks, worried something serious had happened.
"What?" I asked, impatiently waiting for an answer, even though it took less than five seconds.
"Are you okay?" He asked, looking me straight in the eye.
"Yes, I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" I asked, I didn't want him worrying about me, and I was rather surprised he could see it on my face.
"I don't know, you tell me," He answered. His hand was still on my arm, just above my elbow.
"There is nothing to tell, Bellamy," I sighed. I looked down at the ground quickly before meeting his brown eyes again.
"I don't believe you," He said before letting go of my arm. I sighed one last time before walking off to get the food that I was there for.
Bellamy's POV
Clarke was acting strangely. There was something wrong, and I could see it on her face. The circles under her eyes were worse than usual, and she was losing focus all the time.
After I had talked with her, I stood still, watching her as her figure moved slightly different than usual. It was like she was drained from energy.
I noticed a presence beside me and looked to my side to see Miller looking at me. I tilted my head in a 'what?' expression.
He smirked and raised his eyebrows up and down multiple times. He slightly moved his eyes in the direction of Clarke and back to me.
I giggled slightly even though he annoyed me a little.
We eventually went to get food too. I could tell Clarke didn't want to talk about whatever was going on, but I was gonna figure it out. She is not allowed to just go hide something that might be serious all to herself.
