Icy Love (Gray X Reader)

Chapter 1

I knew I've been a Ice Dragon Slayer for a while now. My name is y/n Dragneel. My parents left me when I was younger. I've been on my own since I was little. The ice dragon, Snowstorm found me wandering in an icy wasteland and she raised me and cared for me. She took me and we flew to the woods outside of Magnolia. She told me that when I was older, she wanted me to go and join the Fairytail Guild. I asked her why and she didn't tell me. She just told me it was important that I went there. When I was 6 years old, I was walking through the woods when I found an egg. I took it back to my campsite I made and when I got there, Snowstorm was gone. She just left me. So, I cared for the egg and a few months later, it hatched. And out popped a little pink cat. I decided to name her Poppy since I found her near a field of Poppies. Now I'm 17, and I'm ready to join the Guild I've wanted to join since I was little, Fairytail.

*Present Day*

"You've got this," Poppy says reassuringly

I am so nervous. What of they don't accept me? I think to myself as I stand outside the FairyTail Guild Hall. Ok, I just have to go for it. I push open the big doors and there is one thing that catches my eye. To guys fighting. One of them had pink hair and using fire magic and the other one has black hair and using ice magic. He also doesn't have a shirt on. He's actually kinda cu- NO! I can't think about that right now...

"Hi."

Someone catches me in my train of thought and cuts me off

"Umm... Hi."

"My name's Mirajane and welcome to the Fairytail Guild Hall."

"Thanks, I was wondering if I could talk to the Master? I wanted to join Fairytail." I respond

"Oh yeah. Sure. Just follow me," she says with a big smile. "Who's this little cat?"

"Oh this is Poppy," I reply.

"Well, its great to meet you both," Mira says

I really hope everyone here is as nice as Mirajane, I think as Poppy and I follow her through the guild hall, taking in my surroundings as I go. As I pass the two boys fighting, I hear one yell Ice Princess and the other Flame Brain. Those two seem to really have it out for each other. Mirajane sees me watching them and comes over.

"Those boys are always at it. Natsu is the boy with the pink hair and the other boy with the black hair is Gray. Gray is a Ice Wizard and Natsu is a Fire Dragon Slayer," Mira says

"Wait, Natsu is a Salamander?" I asked

"Yep. That's him. Anyway the Master is right over here," Mira says as she walks off.

We start walking towards the master and he is sitting at the bar when we arrive

"Hello Master. We have someone here who is interested in joining Fairy Tail," Mira says with another big smile

"Thank you Mira," says the master as he waves Mira and she leaves. "So you are interested in joining Fairy Tail?" He asks

"Yes sir," I say

"What type of magic do you use?" he asks

"I use Ice Make and I am an Ice Dragon Slayer," I respond with a smile.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I should've asked your name first," he says with a shake of his head.

"Oh. My name is Y/n Dragneel," I say
