Chapter 5: Date Night Part 2

Leo gave me a blindfold.

“Um, what's this?" I asked confused.

“A blindfold." He answered in a duh voice.

“Uh huh, now, um, what's it for?" I asked sweetly.

“For you to put over your eyes, okay?" He took the blindfold and covered my eyes.

“Wow," he mumbled, “ And people say I'm clueless."

Whoa, what did he just say?

“Hey, I may not be able to see you, but I can still hear you idiot."

“Haha, oops? And you may want to give me your shoes." he said sheepishly.

I grumbled, slipping them off.

Leo lead me across soft feeling hills and rocky paths.

“Leo, man, where are we going?"

“You'll have to wait and see!" he said cheerfully.

Leo's POV

YES! SHE THINKS IM A MAN. GODS SHE IS BEAUTIFUL. SHE IS FUNNY AND SMART AND PRETTY, AND SHE LIKES ME!

We finally got to our table. I sat her down and lit the candles.

“TADA!" I yelled. “YOU CAN TAKE OFF YOUR BLINDFOLD!"

She took off the blindfold and gasped. I knew she loved the beach, so I just asked the Aphrodite cabin what a girl would like the best on a beach date. I laid out a blanket with some pillows and had a single candle lit on a table. I made (okay, the kitchen made) her favorite food: fettuccine alfredo.

“I... Leo, its just... this is absolutely perfect. I love it. Thank you so much. No one has ever put in so much effort for me."

I smiled.

You deserve it." I said.

She blushed.

And the rest of the date was just like that. We got to know each other and played stupid games, like tag and played with a frisbee. It was absolutely perfect. It was romantic and it was fun and absolutely stupid. It was exactly like I planned it to be.

As I walked her back to her cabin, she stopped me and looked at me.

“We probably should stop here. If I know Percy, he'll try to listen in our conversation. Anyway, I really had fun tonight."

I smirked, looking down at her.

“I really had fun, too."

I looked at her lips, then into her gorgeous blue eyes. Unconsciously, I felt myself coming closer, than leaning towards her. She looked up at me and huskily said: kiss me Leo.

So I did.
