Adia's pov

"Here we go...." I whispered to myself crossing my fingers, as one of the worlds most popular tv shows on right now, took a piece of paper off a turtle and began reading it-

Wait rewind. Why is there a turtle with a piece of paper taped to it's back? Ok never mind I don't care about that at the moment, all that I care about right now is seeing if Demi' contestant won.

"And the winner of living with stars is......" (I know it's a crappy tv show name sorry) The voice on the tv snapped me out of my thoughts. God I hate it when they drag the answer out for dramatic affect!!

There was tons of different famous bands and solo artists at the beginning of the show. But now there was only Demi Lovato, the wanted, fifth harmony, taylor swift, ed sheeran, and one direction. Remaining with their contestants as the finalists.

"Fifth harmony's Jason McCartney!!" (Jason has nothing to do with Paul McCartney from the Beatles)

"Damn!!" I huffed. I mean don't get me wrong I like fifth harmony, and Jason is cool. I just wanted Demi to win with her contestant.

"Delilah Adia Malik!!!!" My goody two shoes friend, Hailey; yelled from the kitchen "what did I tell you about swearing?!"

Yeah I know what you are thinking. Omg your Zayn Malik's sister?! Well technically, but I just feel like another stranger. I haven't seen my brother in... What like a year and a half. We also never really talk on the phone or anything. It's strange.

"Yes mother." I groaned but I was smirking. I know she hated when I called her that.

"I. hate. you." She teased coming into the living room. I could tell she was teasing cause she was smiling.

"I love you too!!" I smiled but went completely serious when the tv came back from commercial.

"That's the end of this season everyone. Join us next season for a special edition called siblings living with the stars!" And with that the tv went black.

Hailey looked at me, her face unreadable. "Your going." I looked at her in shock

"W-what?" I gulped. "I can't, how do you know my brother even wants me to go."

Hailey was about to say something when she was cut off by my phone ringing.

"Hey there Delilah, what's it like in New York City-" I cut it off by picking the phone up and clicking answer. It was Zayn. He use to sing that song to me when I was little, and couldn't sleep. It's one of the big reasons I moved to New York... And why I don't go by Delilah anymore. "H-hello" I spoke walking into a different room leaving Hailey alone.
