The bright sky showers its brightness into the room as Zainaba draws the curtain of her daughter's room Laylah. Laylah was still fast asleep as Zainaba gazes upon the sky, the bright sky doesn't shine so much to dare the eyes but a calm and kind of cloudy brightness. She turns to look at her one and only daughter, her reason for survival, her ray of hope, a sudden feeling of love and hatred over whelmed her. Laylah's face portrays the face of her source of pain, the person she hates and at the same time the love of her life, she quickly look away with tears in her eyes. This is her life for the past 17 years, sadness has been her ally, she is chained by her mixed feeling of love and hatred. Most times she tells herself that she had to be strong and accept her fate as it is a test from Allah and she needs to pass it, for 'Innallaha ma'asabireen!!'
