Have you ever seen a shadow move while you attempt to sleep in your bed at night? The shadow just watches you; you stay pierced in bed scared of what it may do to you. You can tell it’s watching you; you feel eyes glued to you, you pretend to sleep but you can feel what it feels. The shadow move’s some more and you feel like its towering over you examining your every move, every thought, ever wave of fear. You want to scream for someone but you can feel that fear of a threat of “I’m going to kill you”. Finally through your curtains you can see a ray of the sunlight come through, as it get’s brighter the shadow fades more and more. You understand even though you didn’t talk with the shadow you know it’s coming back for you. You know that it has the future planned for you. Throughout that day you can feel insanity take over you. You see people looking at you like your dead, you try to work on school work and you just feel the wave of fear come over and over you again, until you finally start to scream “THE SHADOW IS GONNA KILL ME! THE SHADOW IS GONNA KILL ME!” you then are rushed into a mental hospital and you slip perfectly into a that straightjacket you have always feared. Night comes and you can’t bare to think of what’s going to happen. The shadow returns but it has wings and it doesn’t stay in the shadow’s, it comes out for you to get you to collect the insanity you made as if you’re some type of puny flower of joy. You try to kick and scream but you’re so filled with fear you can’t move, you can’t say your final goodbyes to the world. You can actually feel the insanity get sucked out of you. Afterwards you can tell your slowly drifting off into a void of death, you see through your eyes for the last time and you don’t like what you see, because you see the shadow winning your fear and insanity. You feel weak and helpless and try to scream but instead you let out a puny last breath and stop breathing but you can hear the shadow say last words to you. It say’s in a whisper...” I’m the shadow of the night, the fuel to your worst nightmare’s.”

Here’s the life story of the creator of your worst nightmare’s…Shadow.

When you think of it insanity is just stepping out of the line of sanity, Maybe you could even say its reality. In a normal world you are judged by people with no power towards you but you give them power when you accept their invitation to knock your walls down. Sometime’s when you become broken you notice the world and people’s ways and it begins to disgust you. You fight back with your opinion, that turns out to be the cold hard truth and the world calls you insane. Shadow was a “normal” child but after the age 16 hell seemed to have begun for her. Shadow’s mother had gone mental and would lash out on them at any time. Shadow’s father had a new job where he would go to the bar and drink till the bar became empty of the alcoholic pleasures. Shadow thought her  father was rather good at his new job just the after math was not great. When her father came home he was like a pointless doll to the world around him. Shadow had a younger sister named Shade. Their mother loved unique names of course this was the time when her mother was “normal”. Shade was a year younger than Shadow ……Shadow could hear the screams of her sister downstairs and she rushes to see what’s happening. Assuming her mothers conditions she figured her mom was screaming at her or just acting crazy. When Shadow made it down the stairs a cop was pulling away her sister from the house. Her sister was gripping onto the door trying to fight the cops grip. Shadows actions did not help in any way. Shadow attempts to pull the cops hand off her sister’s arm. “ LET GO OF HER” Shadow screamed. Shadow did not understand the reason for a cop to be taking her sister away. “Your sister has committed several crimes of stealing” the cop snaps back. They didn’t have money for food whatever money they had their father would spend on a supplement of artificial happiness. So they had to steal in order to live. Shadow and Shade couldn’t let go of their mother even with her condition. They hope that they will wake up and it’s all a nightmare. So they couldn’t tell someone that their parents were freaks that were stuck in the middle of the world. Their mother was just sitting on the couch knitting her scarf. “ MOM MOM HELP ME PLEASE!” shade calls out as the cop pulls her through the door. Shadow stands their helpless. Shadow loves to run from her problems so she does she runs and she runs far deep into a forest with notes on the trees. Her sister was taken to a prison, her poor innocent sister taken away so her insanity can build and rise to reality. Shadow knew this process, she knew what would happen to her sister but she couldn’t save her. Shadow dreamt of a world of truth, but she knew it would be filled to the brim of its cup with pain, it may even over flow. A world of lies only had pain in the after math of it all. Shadow can’t take the pain after the battle was finished. If you have pain during you can fight better, but after only shows your weak. Shadow ran further into the forest when she fell upon a mansion. It looks as if it was copied and pasted from some cheesy horror movie. The door opened and someone with a cut on smile from ear to ear was staring at shadow. “SLENDERMAN!” he called running towards shadow and grabbing her arm taking away her any chance of escaping. A tall man with no face came waking out and at that moment shadow passes out. Through her dreams she knew this place was filled with insanity. She knew she would make it her in this mansion that was now a new world to her. It was filled with reality and of course the pain from it but here there were laughs of truth, joy of insanity. It was as if she could truly live again.
