"This can't be happening, this can't be true. How do we get out of this goddamn room!" Were the first things I heard, the first things that woke me up. My head felt dizzy, my body felt numb and I looked around only for my head to ache even more. My sight was bad and had to get used to the dim light.
I switched from my lying position to a sitting up one and rubbed my eyes to get a full sight of where I was.
"Finally, our sleeping beauty has woken up, had a good rest sweetheart?" An old lady said mockingly while getting dangerously close to my face. She looked to be older than 60 for sure and had short grey hair which reached just her shoulders and wore blue trousers with a white t-shirt and a pink vest. Underneath she wore pink sneakers.
"Actually, 5 more minutes would be great" I said with an evenly mocking tone. She just huffed and stomped away just to yell once more "How do we get out of this goddamn room!"
I looked down at my clothes which were all dusty and when I looked up I saw a hand reaching out. Before looking up to whom the hand belonged to I gladly took it and got up, when I looked up I was taken a back. It was a handsome guy, looking to be around my age, green eyes with dark brown hair and just to be above 6ft. He had a birthmark just next to his lip. He was wearing black skinny jeans with a grey shirt that hugged his muscled upper body well with matching black boots. I coughed and quickly looked down realizing I might've been looking for a bit too long. I tried maneuvering my little checking out by dusting my clothes off and mumbling a little thank you under my breath. He merely smiled back as a sign that it was ok.
When I finally looked around I saw that I was in a room with 3 other people besides the handsome guy standing next to me and the old woman who was now yelling at the best new person. My eyes first landed on the three people, the first one to be a man who looked to be around his 40's and was a bit fuller. He had a cap on his head and wore a red t-shirt which said: world's greatest dad. Underneath he wore blue jeans with white sneakers. The older woman seemed to be yelling at him.
The next person was a little girl around 11 years old. She sat in the corner all with her arms hugging her knees. As far as I could tell she was wearing a yellow dress and white ballerinas. It seemed as if she was crying.
The last person I saw in the room was a man around 5'9ft. He was holding his phone up, I imagine he was trying to find a connection to the internet. He was wearing a black blouse with blue jeans underneath. He had a little scruffy look and seemed to have arabic features although I wasn't sure.
Lastly I took the room in, concrete with nothing on the walls. There was nothing but a door. And that is when I realized that I was locked in a room with 5 other strangers and I had no idea where I was.
