My alarm went off waking me up. I rolled on my side hitting the off button letting out a groan. Laying on my back under my comforter I looked up at the ceiling in my room.
I was up most of the night worrying over Alex that sleep finally took me in the wee hours of the morning. Picking up my phone on the side dresser I looked at the screen and still no call or text from Alex.
I read through the text my friends sent then got up and off the bed quickly rearranging it. Putting the phone back on the side table I did my two jumping jacks and pushups.
Didn't bother looking at myself in the mirror because i already feel terrible. Removing my clothes i place it in the bin heading to the washroom for my morning ritual.
Putting on deodorant, cream and other essentials I went to the draw putting on matching black undie and bra then went to my closest and put on a spaghetti blue and white top, blue skinny, black and white adidas.

Brushing my hair I put it up into a pony tail. Putting on my silver stud ear rings and white wrist watch i didn't bother with makeup. Grabbing my black book bag placing my books in, phone and keys I walked out my room closing the door.
Walking into the kitchen I notice there was a note on the counter from my mom. Opening the note I read it.

Did not want to wake you filho. I had to leave for work early to prepare the Romano's family dinner. I will be home late.

Opening the top cupboard draw in the kitchen to placed the note and close it back. Looking at my watch I saw it was only 8:45am that gives me time to make pancakes for breakfast.
After mixing the ingredients I set myself to making pancakes.
After breakfast I did the dishes. My phone beep letting me know I had a message I ignored it and head out the door for class.
Getting off at the bus stop I walk around the bend towards the college and notice Megan and Ashley chilling on the hood of the car. I walk up to them.

"Texted you last night to see if you wanted to come with. We were at the dairy queen". Ashley says as she puts a Lickerish in her mouth.
"When you didn't respond I remembered you said about Skype and lover boy". Megan says smiling at me.
'Lover boy indeed. I guess the 3years apart changed Alex and my friendship' thinking to myself.
"Alex didn't come on Skype so I went to bed early". Adding the lie at the end
Didn't want my friends knowing that I stayed up all night waiting and worrying over Alex. Its not like we have a thing going on. I have to stop hurting my poor heart because he only sees me as a little child.
I need to get over this crush and quickly. Before my friends could show me sympathy the buzzer went off signalling that our class will be on.
