How We Met

First Text

It all started back in October. We met through a couple of friends. I remember I was on the phone with a friend of mine and I hear someone in the back laughing.

I asked my friend, "Who is the person laughing?"

He responds with, "Oh! That is Jose. He is a sophomore as well."

Jose then shouts out his Snapchat username to me so I could add him. When I first heard his username, I thought he was giving me a fake one because that is how unbelievable his username was. I waited a little to add the username he gave me because I did not want to seem desperate. I waited for like maybe 5 hours and said What the heck. It is now or never

He instantly added me back. When I saw that Bitmoji, I started to laugh. The bitmoji looked like a clown that breeder with a horse. We started to text and I knew I was in for a ride. We got to know each other a bit more and I began developing a crush with someone I did not even know.

That night I stayed up so long because I wanted to keep texting him. He entertained me so much. He was a very interesting person. After a while, he fell asleep and I was upset because I was fully awake and wanted to keep texting him. I was one of those people who became really attached to someone fast. I am really shy in person too, so I seem more confident on text than in person. After a while, I drifted off to sleep.
