Naina is very hurt about what Sameer has said to her, he wants his personal space, and wants to spend time with Munna and Pandit, she has no problem with that, but the way he said it frightened her a lot. She begins to cry, but eventually wipes her tears.
Naina: Sameer sahi bolraha hai, jab say mein aayi hoon I have spoilt thier friendship, it's better if I stay alone. Ab yeh sacrifice muhjhe lena bhi hai , jo bhi hoga kal, mein dehk loongi.
It is the next morning, Naina arrives in class but does not sit with any of her friends. JBR has asked them all to do an activity with a partner who is sitting besides them. Sameer is checking up on Naina to see if she will work with Vicky.
Vicky: Are you alright Naina, you don't seem like yourself today?
Naina: Mein bilkul teek hoon, challo yeh activity complete karna hai?
Once the activity is over, JBR lets them go, and tells Naina to stay behind, she goes up to him, and he asks her what is wrong, since she is always lively...
JBR: Naina kya huwa hai?
Naina: Mein uncle ko miss karehe hoon, abbhi bimaar, aur wo mere liye sab say important hai, I just don't want anything to happen to him.
JBR: Naina I hope he gets well soon, you both are very close to one another even though you are apart.
Naina: Thank you for understanding, JBR I'm not feeling very well.
JBR: Tum ghar jaa sakte ho, and when your better we will catch up?
Naina leaves from the college, and stops at a church, she goes inside, and starts to pray to keep her calm, and strong at the same time...
Naina: Dear lord, I have made a few mistakes since I entered Sameer's life, I have snatched away his happiness from his friends, actually I sacrifice, and never think about myself. I need to pamper myself as well. I'm sorry if I have ever hurt anyone.
She leaves from there, tells Dad that she wants to live by herself now in the mansion, he agrees to it, and lets Naina go, they both have promised one another to stay in contact. As Naina has her driving lisence, she sits in the car, and leaves from there. She turns the music up, to change her mood, and starts to sing. The mansion is a 40 minute drive, she finally arrives, and gets out of the car. She opens the door with a key, and switches the light on.
Naina: This mansion is so beautiful, thank you so much mom and Dad I love you.
Naina explores around, and chooses a room for herself, she goes in, and puts her clothes in the wardrobe. On the other side, Munna, Pandit, Sameer, Preeti and Swati reach home, and it is empty.
Sameer: Naina kaha ho tum?
There is pin drop silence, they all go upstairs to find Naina and her clothes missing, Preeti scolds Sameer for his rude behaviour towards Naina.
Preeti: Sameer tumne atcha nahi kiya hai Naina kay saat? Look everything has gone now only because of you.
It has been a week since Naina hasn't arrived in college, Sameer becomes really worried about her, Naina comes down in a helicopter, she opens the door, and jumps a bit. Everyone is stunned looking at Naina's new avatar, she is wearing black shades, a white designer dress with black heels on, a bit of make up, and red lipstick on. She walks in confidently, knocks on the door, JBR looks at her, and they both have a chat outside.
JBR: Naina...
Sophia: Naina that's such a boring name, Sophia is much more better.
JBR: You look very different
Sophia: Thank you, but I'm taking an advantage of being Sophia now.
JBR: Are you not going to come inside?
Sophia: Sure I will but I caught up.
Sophia and JBR come inside, that is when Sameer, Munna, Pandit, Preeti and Swati look at her, but she pays no attention to them. She is giving them all the silent treatment. Naina spins her book around by her finger, and puts it on her desk. She gives all the correct answers, and JBR lets her go off early.
JBR: Sophia Dcosta you are very intelligent
Sophia: That's what I like to hear
She leaves from there wiping her tears, and goes towards the canteen where she gets her lunch, and sits down at the popular table talking to a few other people.
Sunaina: Wow Sophia you look so gorgeous
Sophia: I love that compliment.
She picks up her knife and fork, and starts to eat turning the music up a bit, and beats her head to the rap song. Once she has finished, she bumps into her friends, goes around them only for Sameer to hold her, and pulls her gently.
Sameer: Where were you Naina, we were very worried?
Sophia: It's Sophia Dcosta, not Naina, and how dare you touch me?
Sameer: Naina I'm your boyfriend?
Sophia: Sameer, Sameer na I don't remember you. Wo kya haina muhjhe aadat pargayi hai akele rehne mein? Aur tum joa na spend time with your best friends, mere peeche kyun pare ho, tumne toh kaha tha muhjhe mera space chaheye, toh dayrahi hoon, ab muhjhe mera space chaheye, now leave my hand?
Sameer: Mein tumhara haat nahi choroonga, we promised each other that?
Sophia: Oh tumhe promise yaad arahe hai, well sorry to say promises are meant to be broken.
Preeti: Naina what is wrong with you?
Naina: Tum muhjse poochrahi ho yaad rakna I am only your foster sister not your real one. You all killed that Naina a week ago, so don't put the blame on me, when it's your fault not mine, Naina toh bahaut kuch karti hai sab logo kay liye, par Sophia nahi karenghi, aur tum Sameer you could have said it nicely, but you hurt me more than anyone else, I'm breaking up with you, we are over.
Sameer: Please Naina asia mat karo mein mar jaungha tumhare bina.
Sophia claps her hands sarcastically at him, and smirks at him...
Sophia: Wow Sameer your such a great actor, one week you ignored me, I messaged you so many times, but not once did you ever call me, so what does this show, you hurt me but I still care for you, but you... actually meri galti hai that I ruined your friendship. Mere toh koi dost nahi hai.
Sophia takes her shades off, when Sameer looks at her, she has very dark eye bags...
Sophia: Yeh hai meri haalat, I've not slept for a week. I left home, and moved to the mansion, felt very lonely and started drinking. That week was hell for me.
Naina removes her hand from Sameer, she goes to the pillar, and starts slapping her hand on to it, whilst Sameer stops her. He looks at it, blood is coming out. Sameer wraps a cloth around Naina's hand, whilst she is looking at him, until she gives a hug. He wraps her arms around her, she begins to cry until her hearts content. Sameer wipes her tears away, and hugs her tightly finding peace from her.
Sameer: Tum ho meri zindagi, Tum ho meri bandaghi, tum meri pehli aur ahkri mohabbat ho. I love you Naina
Naina: Jeena humko atta nahi hai teri saason ki sivaa, marna ab namunkin hai teri bahoon ke siwaa. I'm sorry Preeti maine gusse mein boldiya, you are my real sister
Preeti: I forgive you
