Part 12!!!

Once Itachi left Gaara came and took a seat beside you "How are you doing?" He asked you very worried "I'm fine Gaara," You told him "You're lying," He said placing his hand on your shoulder you sighed and looking into his bright sea foam eyes "I'd feel better knowing that asshole was behind bars" You told him "He will be soon, that's a promise" He told you smiling softly at you "How's your back today?" He asked "Not sure, Itachi took me to the doctor," You told him "And you didn't tell them about your back did you?" He asked you "No" "Then let me check," He told you softly "Alright, make sure the door is locked," You told him so he got up and locked the door then came back to your side and gently picked you bridal-style "You know I can walk a little" "Yeah but you don't need to walk up the stairs" He told you heading for the stairs you just sighed knowing you wouldn't win with him. He walked into your room and sat you down on your bed then walked into your bathroom and grabbed your first aid kit then came back to you "Take your shirt off" He said softly so you did with a little help from him but you kept it held up covering your front, You felt his hands gently un-doing your bra and started taking the bandages from last night off "Not infected that's good" He said using a warm rag wiping the dried blood off you the wounds. It always surprises you just how gently he is with you for such a tough guy he had very soft hands "This is going to sting" He told you as he started putting alcohol on the wounds to keep them from getting worse. "So what's going on between you two?" He asked you "I'm not sure" You said as you turned your head to look at him "Gaara he's a good man" "So was Tyson" That made you tense up a little "Why do you hate him so much?" you asked him you heard him sigh deeply "I just do" He said "That doesn't answer my question" "I just don't think he's right for you" Gaara told you putting the new bandages on your back once he was done he fastened your bra back and helped you with your shirt he went to stand up back you placed your hand on his leg and faced him "Gaara what was you going to tell me that day at your house?" "It's doesn't matter anymore" "Please we made a promise to always be honest with each other," You told him he just looked into your eyes "I remember," He said standing up and walking into your bathroom "You need to rest" He told you before you picked you back up "Wh.."  "You are going to rest on the couch, I don't want you out of my sight," He told you making his way back to the living room. He sat you on the couch before walking into the kitchen and grabbed two sodas and handed you one before taking a seat on your right side not wanting to take a chance on bumping your leg. He grabbed the remote and switched it back to T.V. and put on CSI: Maimi you turned to where your back was up against his left side and placed your head on his shoulder "Get some rest chick" He told you, you nodded and laid down more so your head was on his leg he placed his right arm on your left arm you had laying on your stomach.

>>GAARA'S POV>>

You watched as Suki got comfortable on your lap you sighed you wanted to tell her something important but didn't want to upset her at all. You hated the fact that Itachi was here with her alone but at least she seemed safe with him, to a point. You started to rub her arm gently looking down at her watching her sleep soundly. You looked around her house and spotted a picture of you and her when you was about 10 and she was 8. It was in the back yard of the house on a summer day she was in her swimsuit it was a dark purple two-piece with silver glittery trim and you just a pair of black shorts on, she was on your back her long blonde hair soaking wet holding up peace signs to the camera smiling big showing off her perfect white teeth you were holding her by he legs looking up at her smiling softly at her. You remembered that day like it was yesterday..

>>FLASHBACK>>

"Gaara!!" You heard her call out to you she jumped over the porch railing and started running towards you in her swimsuit "Father just got the pool ready!" She yelled jumping up in your arms since she was shorter than you it was easy to catch her "Yeah he told me over the phone" You told her walking to the porch with her still in your arms. "Gaara nice to see you again" "You too Mr. Batsu," You said greeting her Father who was on the porch with a smile on his face "You kids ready to swim?" He asked "DUH!" Suki yelled out jumping out of your arms and running around the house to the small back yard "Do you need help sir?" You asked her father "Thanks but I finally got the ramp done on the back porch" He said going back inside you followed him as he made his way through the house and out the back door that was in the kitchen once outside you saw Suki waiting by the ladder for you two. "Go ahead baby girl," Her father said smiling at her as she climbed the ladder and dived in the water "I swear she's a mermaid," He dad said laughing at her as he came up for air "Come on Gaara the water is great!" She yelled out to you before diving back under the water. You walked off the ramp and made your way over to the pool and climbed the ladder then jumped in with her as soon as you came up for air she splashed you with water giggling at you. You two swam for about 2 hours before her Fater called "Alright kids time to eat!" You looked over to see him smiling at the two of you "Aww but Daddy!" She whined to him "You two can get back in later baby" He said "YAY!" She squealed before climbing out with you behind her. Once out she jumped on your back "Take a picture please?!" She yelled to her dad who just laughed and nodded his head. He pulled out a camera and snapped the picture of you two before she jumped off you and looked at you "Race you" She said "It isn't that far away" You told her "So?" She said before taking off which made you sigh be run after her you let her win the race to her dad who was on the porch "I win, means you buy my sodas next time" She said sticking her tongue out at you as her dad handed you both towels.

You sighed as you thought back to how happy she always seemed to be. You looked down at her when she moved and groaned out in pain when she hit her leg with her left foot "Shh" You told her rubbing her arm she settled back down in no time as you started looking at more of her pictures and memories of the past filled your head. You were lost in thoughts until you heard a knock on her door so you carefully lifted her head off your lap and walked over to the door and opened it just a little to see "Hey Neji" You said before opening the door the rest of the way letting him in before closing the door and locking it "How's she doing?" "Fine, just changed her bandages about little bit of ago" You told him as he walked over to her and moved her hair out of her face before looking back at you "I saw his car at the Bovista Hotel" He said which made you growl in hate "So he's staying close by" You said to yourself taking a seat in her chair "Yea, means we need to really keep an eye on her" Neji said sitting on the arm of the couch not wanting to move her "He's planning something" You told him "I know I have my guys keep an eye on him, just in case he does something funny" "That's good but they won't stop him" "I know that but they are ordered not to engage with him just contact me if he makes a wrong move" He told you "Neji he's not going to stop till she's dead" you told him knowing what kind of man Tyson has turned out to be "We won't let that happen" Neji told you standing up "How long as she been asleep?" "Almost 2 hours" "Has she ate anything today?" "Not sure Itachi left when I got here didn't get a chance to ask him," You told him standing up "Alright knowing her even if she did it wasn't much." "You're right about that" "Sasuke called and said he will be coming over soon, I'll have him pick something up on his way," Neji said before pulling out his phone and sent the text.

You woke up to someone gently shaking you so you slowly opened your eyes to see "Hey Neji" You said sitting up with his help "Good morning sunshine" You looked up to see "Shut up Sasuke" You told him smiling at him "Here you need to eat" He said handing you a plate of pizza and breadsticks on it "Thanks" You told him grabbing the plate "So what's the news on him?" You asked him which made all three of the boys look at each other "So he is in town" you said before taking a bite of pizza "Don't worry he won't hurt you again" Sasuke said taking a seat in the chair as Gaara sat down on your left side and Neji on your right. "You guys can't keep babysitting me" You told them "We aren't leaving you alone either, You know better than anyone ho.." "I know that but I do have to work" "No, you need to stay low for a while" Sasuke told you "Sasuke you know your brother's office, there are some many guards and officers in and out of that place he wouldn't dare come there" "True but he could start following you" Gaara told you "I can't just stop working because of him" You told them setting your plate down and crossing your arms "We could take turns taking her to and from work until it's safe" Neji said knowing how important your job is to you "That could work" You said not really liking this but you know these three better and knew it was the only way.
