I ran through the hallway as fast I could. My uniform won't allow me to step bigger but it doesn't stop me from running fast. I could hear some students cursing at me and the person who's been chasing me.

"Stop right there, Y/n! I swear to God I won't stop until I catch you!" Ae-ra shouted. I could hear her desperate voice. I laughed and kept on running. We both are the star on running in the school but I'm the fastest one. Ae-ra always trying to beat me but she can't. Hahahahhaha.

"Y/N!!!WATCH OUT!"  Ae-ra screamed. I snapped out of my daydream and saw a group of guys walking in front of me. I couldn't control myself and crashed onto one of them. The crash was too hard and we both slammed onto the hard floor. He groaned.

"Oww," I looked up and saw Ae-ra laughing her head off. I shrugged and turned my head to the guy I hit just now. My eyes met his. Hmm, who is he? Why he looks so unfamiliar?

He stood up and brushed the dust on his uniform. "Here, let me help you," he offered me a hand. I accepted and hold his hand. It was smooth and warm. I looked into his brownish eyes.

"You okay, dude?" One of his friends asked him. He nodded. "Go first. I'll catch up later," he turned his gaze towards me. I looked down in guilt.

"Hey, it's okay. See? I'm still alive," he joked. I smiled. "I'm really sorry. I'll treat you for lunch!" I said while raising my hand like I'm reciting an oath. He chuckled and pushed my hand down.

"Well, it's way past lunch so how about dinner? " he raised his eyebrow. I nodded. I really need him to forgive me.

"I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Huening Kai," he bowed. I bowed down too.

"I'm Y/n. Nice to meet you and I'm sorry again," "Well, it's quite amusing to be hit on your very first day at a new school," he said. I looked at him.

"Hahahahah. I'm joking. See ya later," he waved and ran off to join his friends. I was still frozen. Dinner? Treat? Where? When? Tonight? Just the two of us?

Ae-ra nudged me. "Let's go,"

"Where?" "We gotta find you the best outfit for tonight!" She squealed. I rolled my eyes.

"It's only a treat. Not a date. Besides, he probably already had a girlfriend back at his old school. Don't be too excited, Ae-ra," I don't know why I felt sad upon saying the sentence. Like I was jealous. Of who?

I received a message. It says I have to wait at McDonald's after dawn. I felt weird and remembered that it must be Huening Kai. Hmm, I wonder where he got my phone number?

That night...

I waited for Huening Kai at McDonald's. It was over-crowded but it's too quiet. I couldn't stop myself from worrying that he'll ditch me and go out with his friends instead.

All of the sudden, the main door flung open and a gang equipped with guns went in. Everyone screamed and panicked. I was unable to move. I looked at them while trying to hide from their view. Unlucky me, one of them saw me and pointed at me. And the biggest guy there looked at me. Must be their leader. He smirked and pulled something from behind him.

Huening Kai

He looked horrible and badly wounded. I screamed and without waiting for another second, I jumped off of my seat and ran towards them. I sent the leader a flying kick and a punch on his face. I counted. There's 7 of them.

I prepared myself and fought all of them. All the knowledge of Taekwondo that my Grandpa taught before, I apply it on my moves. Within minutes, all of them lay on the ground. I breathes uncontrollably. I turned my head only to find Huening Kai stood in his tux.

"Wait, what? Aren't you supposed to be hurt?" I checked his face and his hands but found nothing. He smiled.

Suddenly, someone appeared behind him. I'm about to attack him before Huening Kai stopped me. I looked at him. The person looks just like Huening Kai!! I looked at them in confusion.

"Hello, Y/n. I'm Ria, Huening Kai's sister," she opened her cap and revealed her long golden hair. I gasped. A girl?

I bowed and smiled. She inched closer. "Take care of my lil bro," she whispered. I looked into her eyes. She winked and ran away. I'm still in confusion.

"Y/n? What is it?" Huening Kai touched my hand. I stepped back in shock. He laughed.

"Aww, poor Y/n. She's still in shock," I heard someone chuckle from behind. I turned and saw Ae-ra. She smiled at me.

"Wait, wait. What is happening actually? Is this some kind of a sick joke? I'm not in the mood, Ae-ra," I shot her a sidelong glance.

"No, it's not. Y/n,"Huening Kai reached for my hand. He breathed heavily.

"Will you be my only one?" He said it out loud and clear. I gasped. What?

"Huening Kai, you're kidding right? " I asked him. He smiled. "No, I'm not," he looked into my eyes with a pleading look on his face.

I cried and hugged him. "I will!!!" I cried out. He hugged me back and screamed out a loud 'yes'. I chuckled. Everyone else cheered. "So this is all a prank? You almost kill me, you weirdo, " I pinched his nose. "I'm sorry. Y/n, I love you,"

"Me too,"
