I got home and packed my pickup in the garage. Walking into the house I notice all the workers were busying themselves.
Hearing my moms voice erupting from the ballroom I walked in. 'Thought it was only family' I thought to my self. As I was about to leave the room my mom called me over.
"Alex sweetheart what do you think?" Mom says looking at me.
"Its beautiful mom". Not hurting her feelings I say
"I can't wait to see my future daughter in-law face when she sees this place". Clapping her hand my mom says smiling.
"Don't want to sound rude mom but I'm starving. I'm gonna head into the kitchen to crab something to eat".
"Go on my son you need the food". Winking at me and standing on her toes she kiss my forehead then walk off
Shaking my head I went to the kitchen. I notice my sister and brother Roberto helping with the kitchen staff. Greeting everyone as I walk in then notice there on the counter was wrap and fries.
"Look what the 'kat' dragged in". Roberto says as he continue to slice tomatoes on a chopping board.
"Ah Alex are you hungry? Do you want me to dish out a plate for you"? Anna ask
"Anna you're the best".
After handing me the meal and a glass of orange juice Anna went back to her chore. Roberto kept teasing but I just ignored him.
Evangeline came over and gave me a hug and went back to mixing the spices. I left the kitchen walking into the entertainment room when I notice Gino and Brock sitting on the sofa playing race wars.
"So that's where you guys are hiding!" Saying as I take a sit across from them eating my meal.
"All this just for a family dinner? That's never happened before bro. Mom's up to something Alex and you're gonna be caught in the middle of it". Without moving is eyes off the game Gino says
"I have a feeling something bad is about to happen tonight".
"Whatever mom is up to its not going to work. I know you so well Alex". Gino says laughing
"Anyway, did dad tell you guys about the merger?"
"Hell yeah. Just don't 'screw' it up". Gino adds
"Speaking of screwing it up shoot I need to call Chloe".
Grabbing my phone I took a picture of my meal to send Bella then called Chloe.
"Hey Chloe can you go over to the penthouse? There's a number in my shirt jack, text it to me then get the clothes to the dry cleaner. I'll send a maid over to clean up".
Hanging up I notice there was silence in the room as the game was on pause and my brother and friend was smirking at me.
After eating I walked up the stairs holding my glass of orange juice. I thought about my broken promise to Bella and felt like crap. I decided to make it up to her.
Sitting on a chair in my balcony I took my phone and text Bella. Soulmate: please don't be mad at me. I'm soon sorry about last night.
Me: will make it up to you. Your mom made me one of my fav. Want!
Me: ;-) ❤ Really wanted Bella to forgive me so I sent a bribe picture.

I smiled to myself knowing she couldn't stay mad at me.
Me: ah she speaks lol and I'd never bribe you but is it working?
Bella: :-! I laughed
Me: I know you miss me Bella❤ Not getting a response from Bella after 15mimutes I went in for a quick nap.
