Chapter 3

A/N: Hi guys. I'm really sorry for not updating. I was so busy. I'll just make it up with you guys. :)

"Oh hi. Karlos, is she your girlfriend?"

"No Uncle. She's my friend, Angela." Then Jk looked at me.

"Andge, he's my Uncle. Uncle, she's Angela, my new friend." Jk introduced us to each other.

"Hi. I'm Jovanni. You can call me Uncle Jov." Uncle Jov offers his hand to me. I took it and we shook hands.

"Come on Andge. Let's go to my room." Then Jk started dragging me to his room.

We entered his room. Wow. I didn't expected a clean room from a boy. Usually boys' rooms are messy.

His walls are white. Black and white-checkered bed. and he have a flatscreen TV. Beside it is a bookshelf.

"So what do you wanna do?" Jk suddenly asked.

"Hmmm... How about we play XBox?!" I said excitedly.

"Good idea. I'll just go downstairs to grab some snacks we can eat while we play. You just stay here and get comfy." Then he walked out the door.

I walked to his bed and laid on it. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and checked on Twitter.

Juan Karlos' POV:

I went to the kitchen and I found my Uncle doing something.

"Hey, watcha doin'?" I asked him while I walked to the cabinet.

"Baking some cookies." He answered. I grabbed two bag of Lays then closed the cabinet.

"Can we have some later?" I transferred the chips to a bowl.

"Sure. I'll just bring some to your room when it's done." He said without looking at me.

"Cool. Thanks, Uncle." I grabbed two cans of Pepsi from the fridge.

I was about to walk out the kitchen when "You like her. Do you?"

I turned to my Uncle with my nose crunched up. "No. She's just my friend."

"But she's the first girl you brought here." He's still not looking at me but I can see his smile.

"So what if she's the first girl I brought here? We're just friends. Besides, we just met."

"BINGO!!!" He finally looked at me "You two just met and you already brought her here. Usually, you bring your friends here when you've been friends for a long time." He said with a smirk on his face.

"Maybe I just trust her. I'm going up now." I'm done with this conversation.

"Okay." He said dragging the A in okay.

I turned around and started to walk.

I entered my room and I saw Angela with her phone.

Angela's POV:

I was checking my Twitter when Jk entered carrying a bowl full of chips and two cans of Pepsi.

"So what do you wanna play?" He asked while he put down the foods in front of his bed.

"Hmmmm. Dance Kinec, maybe." Me thinking of other games.

"Great idea." He started preparing the game.

After a minute of preparing, he's done.

"What song do you want?" Jk while scrolling down the playlist.

"I want Starships." I answered while smiling.

He nodded and picked Starships.

We started playing.

*About 30 minutes later*

We are still playing Dance Kinec.

Suddenly, someone knocked at the door. It opened revealing Uncle carrying some cookies.

"Hey kids. I brought some cookies." He placed the cookies on the table beside the bed.

"Thank you." Jk and I said in unison.

Uncle left and the both of us headed to the foods.

"I'm so tired." Jk said catching his breath.

"Me too. By the way, you got some moves there." I said also catching for my breath.

"Thanks. Same as you. Here." Jk hands me a cookie.

"Thanks." I took a bite of my cookie. I grabbed my phone from the bed to checked the time. It's already 6.

"Hey, I better get going now. It's getting late." -Me

"Okay. I'll walk you to the gate. Come on." He stood up and started his way to the door.

I grabbed my bag and followed him. We went downstairs. I said goodbye to his Uncle then we went outside.

"You sure you don't want me to walk you home?" Jk asked while he opened the gate.

"Yeah. Thanks. I'll be going now. Bye." I waved at him and started to walk.

"Bye. Take care." He said. I smiled at him.

*A minute later*

Finally, I'm in front of our house now.

I swang the door open and came in.

"Mom! I'm home." I yelled.

"Where have you been? You're class ends at 5." I went to the kitchen to see my mom.

"I went to my friend's house." I said while pouring water to my glass.

"Okay. Go up and change now. It's almost dinner time."

I went upstairs and head to my room. I put down my bag and went to my walk in closet to get some clothes. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower.  Then I got on my Pj's. I fixed my hair then went downstairs.

"How was school today?" My mom asked.

"It was fun. Met some new friends." I answered as I reach for the chicken.

"Good. Sleep early, okay? Don't want you to get late." "Yes Mom."

When we're all done eating, I helped cleaning the table then I went to my room.

I laid on my bed and grabbed my phone.

1 new message

It's from Jk.

Juan Karlos: Hey! Did you got home safely?

Me: Yup. Thanks for the concern.

Juan Karlos: No problem. I'm going to sleep now. Goodnight. :)

Me: Okay. Goodnight. :)

I put my phone back to the table beside my bed. I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.
