Heartbreak

Theo's POV

Today is Monday. The worst day of the week. I got up, got dressed, and went downstairs like always. Dad was making bacon and eggs.

"Hey dad." I sat down and dad gave me a plate of bacon and eggs.

"Morning kiddo. I already ate 'cause I have to go to work early today. Philip will pick you up. Even though I hate his father I have no other choice."

"Okay..." I started eating and dad got ready to leave. I cleaned up and went upstairs. I got my stuff and waited for them in the driveway.

Pip: We're coming right now.

                                     Theo: Okay see you soon!

Pip: See ya.

Then, they came. I sat in the front and Angie was in the back.

"Hi Pip's girlfriend." She teased.

"You know Angie I have a name and I want you to use it." I said looking at her dead in the eyes.

"Okay Theo. Is that better?"

"Much better." Pip started driving. We talked about our boring teachers and all the work they gave us. Angie was just talking about gossip the whole time it was like, 'Oh did you hear about this?' Or, 'Did you hear that-' It was kind of...interesting. We arrived at school and it was normal. Just a bunch of teens who are currently dead inside all thrown into one big campus. Seems just about right.

"School seems pretty dead today." Pip said while we were heading to our lockers.

"Since when was school alive?" Pip chuckled.

"I guess you're right Theo."

We got to our lockers and surprisingly there was no George. He must be missing school today. So far this day has been perfect.

Philip's POV

We went through all of our classes and finally lunch came. Theo, Angie, and I all sat at our regular table. Soon enough Frances, Georges, and Will came.

"Why do you guys take so long everyday?" Theo asks.

"Well it's not our fault the lunch line is so long!" Will protested.

"Why don't you just run to the line?" I ask.

"Because I'm not a peasant who runs! I'm the king and kings don't run, they strut." Will replied.

"No wonder you take so long then." Theo muttered making us all laugh.

We finished up our lunches and I went to go play soccer. We have a game coming up and I need to practice as much as I can. Theo was reading a book underneath a tree that's by the field. Just like she always does. After a while of playing soccer Susan came over.

"Hey Philip!" I turned my head around to see Susan walking towards me.

"Yeah?" I step out of the game and call timeout.

"Could we go talk in the library? It's important." She winked at me. I got confused but I still went along with it.

"Uh sure?" We headed towards the library. The library is actually pretty big. Our school campus is huge so the library is big as well. We were in one of the isles. The romance isle...

"So what did you want to talk about?"

"Well..." Susan turned red. She looked down and said, "I like you."

I tried to act surprised even though Theo already told me about Susan's crush. "Since when?"

"When I first saw you I think. I just fell in love..."
