Sam was at home eating dinner while his mom did her crosswords. She loved her crosswords. About 5 minutes into dinner the phone rang, and Sams mom answered.
"Uh huh?" She said. "Yea? Oh my! That's awful. We will do whatever we can."
"What is it mom?" Sam asked
"Mrs Lawnvury called and said your friends haven't come home yet, and it's really late,."
"Which friends?"
"I think she said Rick and Paul."
"Huh... Weird... My, friends."

Pauls little sister, Kathy, was sitting in her room drawing when her mom came in.
"Sweetie it's time for bed!"
"I'm busy mommy."
"You can finish up tomorrow."
"Mommy I'm busy!"
"Only five more minutes, then bedtime, I mean it!"
"Ok mommy, I'm busy."
"Ok honey, goodnight."
