Izzy and Jess The Haunted Explorers

Mont-Royal Cross-Montrèal, Quebec (2013)

As I set up the camera, Jess and I talk about who's going to say what and how we are always going to alternate talking and that I will always start off the videos unless we say otherwise and how much we should say about MontRoyal Cross. We want to tell our fans all about it, but we also don't want to bore them. We figure out how much we are going to say and start.

"Hey, guys its Izzy and Jess coming at you with a hunted video"

"We are going to Mont-Royal Cross in Montréal, Quebec, fun fact it's only about a 2 hour drive from where we live. Here's a bit of info on the Mont-Royal Cross"

"The illuminated cross was installed in 1924 by the Société Saint-Jean-Baptiste and was given to the city in 1929 five years later. Next to the cross, a metal plate marks the placement of the time capsule that was buried in 1992, during Montréal's 350th birthday celebration. It contains messages and drawings from 12,000 children, depicting their visions for the city in the year 2142, in 123 years, when it is scheduled to be opened. Mount Royal is situated in the heart of Montréal Island, it gets very dark and spooky there at night. It's often described as a "City of the Dead overlooking a City of the Living". Mount Royal hosts the largest intact burial ground in North America, when its four cemeteries are combined. At sundown, ghostly spirits are rumoured to wander the graveyards. The First Nations were also known to bury their dead on the mountain, and the most common ghost spotted is that of an Algonquian warrior."

"Awh, sounds spooky"

"Lol, now that you guys have a bit of info on where were going, let's go"

*Time skip*

*Jess and I have been here, walking around and exploring in the dark for about 20 minutes  without the camera and nothing has....*

BANG

BANG

BANG

"Looks like you spoke to soon, Izzy"

"I love how not even a minute after I  put the camera away and start talking to them, something happens"

"Then, I don't know maybe don't put the camera away even if nothing happens; we can just edit it out."

"Ok, do you see anything?"

We point our flashlights around to
see if we can see anything but we can't.

"No, and what could have made that sound? We aren't in a building, there aren't any walls for the ghosts to bang on"

"You're right Jess, I wonder what they banged on"
I had walk over to the Cross to investigate
what could have made those bangs.

"I found what they banged on Jess; it was the metal plate that marks where the time capsule is."

"You're kidding right"

"Izz?"

I was standing by the Cross,
looking at words that were
carved into the rock
that the Cross was on...

"IZZY!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Jess yelled at me and snapped
me out of the fog I was in,
from looking at those words.

"Yes Jess, how can I help you?"

"Are you ok? You were just staring at the rock"

"Come look that what it says."

Jess walked on to me with the camera
and stopped dead when she saw
what it said. In capital letters it said...

"WE ARE WATCHING YOU,
NOW AND FOREVER"

We turn and look and each other,
thinking of the same thing.

How.

We.

Met.

"Thanks for watching this weeks video"

"Come back next week for another hunted video"
