I heard a door open and I turned my head towards it.
"Karkitty!" a loud, female voice boomed from the door once it opened.
By the nickname I could tell who it was. nepeta.

you raced towards the bed seeing Karkat lay silent. "Pawllux?" you whispered, peering over at him
"What.. what happened to mew two?" your voice was soft and you felt your heart break.
You know they're together but deep down you still had feelings for the smaller boy, karkat.
"Nepeta.." Sollux said with a hush voice, sitting up slowly
You sat down beside Sollux, to his right in between the two males.
"I.." he looked past you sadly then looked down, guessing where you may be with the sound of your voice.
You put a hand on his shoulder. "Sollux.. it's okay to tell me mew know.." You smiled lightly
"I know.. it'th jutht.. I.." he sighed.
You rubbed his shoulder, he didn't seem ready so you will just try to find out later.
"It's okay.. Mew can tell me later if mew want, when the rest of us are here?" you suggested kindly.
He nodded. "ill be back later okay?"
"Alright.. thee you.."

You rested your head on the side of your pillow, hoping mituna didn't come.
It may sound rude but you didn't want him to see you like this.
"Thollux.. are you in here?" came a voice hidden behind the door.
Damn! it was the person you didn't want to see right now. See.. you didn't have to see him.. you can't see him anyways.
"mituna.. you came.." I pulled my knees to my chest.
"Of courth.." I yawned.
"What happened thol?" he said a few minutes after
"I.. Accidentally crathed my car.. a truck hit uth too" I mumbled, remembering it all.
They've probably got me on some jacked medicine now.
"Oh.. are you alright? kurlozth drove uth jutht ath we got a call" I fumbled with my fingers.
"I can't thee mituna.., I'm blind.." I tilted my head in the direction I thought mituna was in.
He stepped close to me. "maybe.. maybe we could get you new eyeth" he said with a grin I couldn't see.
I snorted at his attempt to make me feel better. "iit'th fine. heh, thankth though"
