It was your second time at Vidcon and you were of course nervous. You were meeting a long time friend of yours Gee Nelson who you had met up with a few times. She had a flat mate who you had never met nor had you ever heard about. You only knew his name was Will and he also done YouTube.
Any way, it was around the end of the event and Gee and yourself had been walking around for a while, bumping into old friends and meeting fans along the way. Until you bumped into a tall man who Gee seemed to recognise. "Will!" She called and you realised that this was the flatmate. And he was pretty attractive. "Alright Gee" he smiled. You stood behind Gee, trying not to stare so much. "This is my friend Y/N, Y/N this is my flat mate Will" you smiled and gave him a nod and he done the same. "Here, can you do me a favour and let me walk around yous for a bit? Alex is went off somewhere with James and I can't be arsed finding him" Gee smiled and turned to you, looking for your approval. "I'm fine with it. But of course it depends on Y/N's answer too" You smiled and looked at the pair. "Not a problem with me. As long as we find either food or alcohol soon because I can't stand this place much longer" Gee and Will laughed. "Alright lets go!" Gee called in her usual energetic manner.
The three of you went to the after party of the event hours later after getting ready. You and Will had had a bit to drink at around 11 and people began to notice the effects. You too had gotten to know each other quite well at this point too which Gee thought was really cute. You and Will had managed to crash onto beanbags that were somewhere in the event. "So, got a boyfriend?" You let out a tipsy laugh but put your beer to your lips after. "Pft. No. Also that was very forward. What about you?" You drunkly gazed at Will who had his beer to his lips. "Nah. I'm not into that shite right now. Well I mean, I am but no ones interested so" You laugh. "Me too. Don't worry. I'm hopeless with men" Will furrows his eyebrows and shakes his head. "Nah there's no way someone like you struggles with men like. My mates would drool over you" You shake your head, a small drunk smile pressed on your face. "You obviously need glasses mate. I think your mates would run away" Will sits up and wraps his arm around you. "Nah I think you're fit. You're well nice as well. It's hard to hold a conversation with some lassies these days" You smile and take another swig from your beer. "Thanks. Your not too bad either" Will smiles and continues to let his arm sit on your shoulder.
Gee walks in seconds later and giggles before taking a picture of the pair of you. Alex and James walk in behind her, a large grin pressed on their faces. "Aw Will's found himself a little girlfriend" Alex jokes and James let's out a laugh. "Hey shut it you. At least girls like to talk to me" You smile at Wills back chat. Gee shakes her head at the pair of you, realising you were both nearly out of it. "Alright you two. Think we need to get you both back to the flat" Gee pulls you up on your feet and you lean against her with a grin on your face. James helps Will up but Will holds himself up. "Gee you smell nice" You mumble and Gee let's out a laugh. "Thanks. Right, let's get you back to the flat... before you do anything embarrassing"
You all arrive back at the flat. You have sobered up slightly but not fully considering the amount of alcohol you consumed. Will on the other hand was still a bit drunk and had been mumbling a bunch of crap since you had left the convention. Gee had flopped you both on the couch and was getting water for the both of you, leaving you both to converse, tipsily.
"You like fortnite?" Will asks, putting his arm on back of the chair. "Pft no. Only play that shite when Gee asks me to" Will let's out a little drunk giggle and nods. "Me too. I'm more into FIFA" You smile. "I'm more into COD personally. Do you play?" You ask and he nods. "Not as much as I used to but I will if your on" You let out another drunk giggle and pat Wills thigh. "Quite the flirt, aren't you?" Will nods and giggles. "How else am I meant to get with you?" You shake your head, but continue to smile, knowing he's obviously joking. "You won't be interested in someone like me" Will shakes his head and his drunk smile falters slightly, but you don't take much notice. "Howay man. Why do you think I've been chatting you up all day? Aye most of it was joking, but I'd like to get to know you better. I think your well class" You blush slightly and look down.
Just in bad timing, Gee walls up to the pair of you and hands you both a glass of water. "Well I'm heading off to bed. Y/N are you sure your alright sleeping on the couch? You can crash with me?" Gee questions, a smile on her face. You shake your head at her offer but smile too. "I'll be fine here" She nods and heads off to bed before patting Wills head. He looks at you with a small smile. "You can crash in my bed. It's well big. I won't try anything either. I'm not like that" you blush and look down. "I'm not sure. I've barely known you for a day. It would be a bit weird" Will scoffs and shakes his head. "Load of shite, it'll be fine. Come on, I'll put on a film in the background if that helps" you consider his offer and nod. Your still tipsy self didn't really see a problem with it and thought it would be a laugh. "Alright come on then. Personally I can't sit and watch films, so you can choose" You follow him to his room, stopping at your bag with your clothes in it and picking out your usual night wear. "Alright. What about Shrek?" You giggle at your own suggestion and Will smiles and nods. "Shrek it is"
You follow Will to his room and watch as he sets up Shrek on Netflix and jumps into bed before patting the spot next to him. "I'll get changed first. I'll be two minutes" Will nods and gets himself ready for bed
You return minutes later to see Will laying in the bed, his shirt off and only in his boxers. You shake your head and let out a laugh. "Don't know how I'm going to explain this one to Gee" Will smiles as you climb in the bed. You get comfy in the bed and begin to watch the film, dozing off slightly.
Eventually you fall asleep and Will does shortly after his arm around your shoulder. Your head falls into his chest in the night as you attempt to get cosy, not really realising that Will was there and you were snuggling into him
Gee wakes up the next day but is surprised to find you not on the couch like you were supposed to be. She furrows her eyebrows and heads to Wills room, smiling as she finds you both snuggling up to one another in Wills bed, still in a deep sleep. She pulls out her phone and snaps a quick picture, smiling menacingly as she does so.
Will stirs awake moments later as Gee lets out a little giggle. He furrows his eyebrows before looking down and nearly pulling his arm back in shock. His eyes widen as he looks at Gee, thinking the worst of the situation. He relaxes after remembering that you only slept in the same bed and you didn't do anything drunk. A small smile appeared on his face and he blushes as Gee begins to make fun of him. "Ah Young William. He appears to have a little crush" she mocks and he shakes his head lightly, making sure not to wake you up. "Shut it you" She giggles as she goes on her phone, noticing a recent tweet from Alex. It was a picture of you both on the beanbags, getting quite close. He tagged the picture with "Young Love" She shows Will the picture and he groans , falling back into the bed. "I'm gonna kill him for that. Little shit" Gee continues to smile and begins to walk out. "Well I'll leave you two to it" Will continues to look down at you, a small smile still plastered on his face. "Gee" he calls out and the girl stops and turns around. "Yeah Will?" He blushes again and looks down at you. "Remind me to ask for her number" Gee smiles and nods. "Don't worry Will, I've got you" Gee closes the door behind her before walking off to make everyone breakfast, the same smile plastered on her face. "Young love indeed"
