Third Wheeling 101

That Sappy Beginning...

Alright, so another story based on third wheeling. I bet everyone has at least been the third wheel once in their life. Unless you just never leave your house and live as hermit your whole life... Well if you do then lucky you because you won't ever have to experience the annoyance, the sadness, and the anger of being a third wheel.

 At least that's what being the third wheel is usually depicted as feeling. But honestly there are all kinds of third wheel experiences each one unique. But I guess you could generalise some of these experiences. There is the third wheel with the PDA couple, the third wheel that the couple tries to include in every single thing, the third wheel that the couple excludes from everything, the accidental third wheel, the heart breaking third wheel, the best friend third wheel, the wing woman third wheel, and the list could go on and on. 

I could name more but that would first of all, give away the whole premise of this story, and secondly would make me look sadder than I probably already am. I mean I'm sitting here writing about third wheeling so yes, no life. 

Anyways now that we have that out of the way lets start with the cliché third wheel. The typical one that comes up in movies is the 'three best friends', you know when two of the friends start dating and one is left there not knowing what to do, but you're all best friends and you want to still hang and out and have good times together buts its super awkward... And blah, blah, blah... 

You know what I am talking about, and there is no denying that is probably one of the most common third wheels that you will see around. Another cliché, that usually ties in with the three best friends trope is the love triangle trope. This one is usually done in dramas or fan service or romance to really intensify that love. I mean Shakespeare was doing it all the time with A Midsummer's Night Dream bringing in that four way romance. Things get complicated, and maybe I will go into the whole fifth wheeling and stuff but for now lets stick with the basics. 

So cliché third wheels, they're annoying and frustrating to be in and watch sometimes, though other times quite hilarious. I have to admit that I am actually not too familiar with this one, only because I never had three best friends that were all really close then suddenly started dating. However, I did have a best friend who would get a lot of attention and we would all hang out as a group and then things would happen... But I am getting way ahead myself. 

This whole thing is really all over the place, anyways this is just a sort of introduction to what this is gonna be like. So yeah... Good Luck, I guess... If you can relate to any of this or it helps you at all then welcome to the club? Oh god alright lets just get down to it all...
