CHAPTER 1...
Jogging at this speed burns at least 400 calories, cholesterol lowers, stress levels decrease and anxiety is destroyed; but today no matter how much I jog, my stress is not going to decrease. Today is the most important day of my life and my career.
My thoughts were burning inside me. I felt sweat dripping down my face. I felt like my brain is going to burst any moment.
I decided to take a break. I sat down on a three stepped staircase outside a basketball court near my house. I bent to tie my shoelaces...BOOM!!!!
I think this is where my story starts; like a whole movie starring me. Just that this is reality!!!!
My head felt displaced for a moment. That ball was so hard and the sound was pretty loud too; my anger had reached the levels. My day just got worse and I was planning to ruin that person's day who played such ruthless basketball.
“BULLSEYE!!” he screamed, “can we have the ball please?”
I pulled the earphones out of my ears and bounced the ball as I walked towards him. “it's yours!!” I said in a sarcastic tone.
“Who else would have such awesome aim!!” he said replying to my sarcasm, “right boys!!” giving one of the boys a high five.
How foolish could he be? He was feeling so cool and he was playing with a bunch a kids that were half his age. When I first looked at him he looked so dreamy. His shirtless body, his abbs, his blue dreamy eyes, his perfect haircut. Sweat drops ran down his chest showing off the curves of his abbs even more!! but the moment he opened his mouth everything changed. He was another one of those cute, dreamy but too cool to be kind type of guys.
“You think your really smart, right?” bouncing the ball to him and back. “I don't think I am smart, I know I am smart!” he said in his totally dreamy but mocking voice.
I went and threw a perfect basket, just to show off a little bit. After all I was a basketball champ back in school. I bounced the ball back towards the kids and passed it to one of them. “Want some advice kids; change your coach. You will benefit from it,” I said walking towards the gate.
“Giving unwanted advice is your passion or your habit?” said that so called dreamy coach, “you cannot have a match alone, one on one; are u in for it?”
“Done!!” I said making eye contact with his dreamy blue eyes.
The match had started and all I could hear was a bunch of boys screaming, “BEN!!!” He was their coach after all and besides they did not even know my name. Well at least I got to know that this idiot was called Ben.
