Chapter 1: Chocolates, Letters and crushes

Violet......

I wake up at 7 like every morning and start to get ready for another day of school. I get up and take a shower letting the hot water send me into a trance of some kind. I wash my hair with my favorite shampoo and conditioner that smells like vanilla. When I finish I put my hair in a bun so it'll dry while I get dressed. I put on a white shirt that has this black strip design with this strappy diamond in the middle and some blue jeens and my black sandals(the outfit in the book picture).

After I was done getting dressed I brushed my teeth. After all that my hair is finally dry. I straighten it since my hairs naturally curly. I put on some gold stud earrings and grab my bag and walk down stairs where I see my mother making breakfast.

Mom: Morning babydoll

Me: Morning

Did I mention my mom's basically a teenager? she's so much like me and never really is strict unless it's serious. She's 30 so yea kinda young. People never know which one of us is the mother and the daughter. Were both the same height and were twins metaphorically of coarse. Oh wait did I mention her and my dad are divorced? yea they've known each other and used to be together since freshmen year of high school. But they would always fight so I guess they just called it quits. They still talk parent to parent for the sake of me and my baby brother Braden. Braden's 8 months now and me and him still see dad on a regular day basis. Most of the time we see him 3 days a week and once every other weekend. Mom thought that would be a good compromise so they both get equal days with us. Anyways back to breakfast......

Mom: I'm making your favorite Pancakes and sausage and eggs and bacon.

Me: Oh god your making my favorite....what did you do?(suspicious)

Mom: oh nothing(fake laugh) why would I do anything?

Me: Mom(reprimanding tone)

Mom: ok ok I didn't do anything I just thought we should be really happy and celebrate because I have a surprise. Well 2 suprises.

Me: go on

Mom: I got promoted at work!

Me: Yay! I'm so happy for you

Oh yea I forgot. my mom is the co- well now since she got promoted she's the head of one of the biggest fashion companies in California! cool right? yea she always used to tell me stories of how she always wanted to be a fashion designer. At first she got the chance to be the designer for ANGELINA JOLIE! how amazing is that? now since she's the head of the fashion company called Destiny(made up) she now is the fashion consultant and designer of not only Angelina Jolie but also Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Iggy azalea, Rita Ora and All the Kardashians(Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kris, Kendal and Kylie).

Me: And the second surprise?

Mom: oh yea the second surprise is that we can take a vacation this weekend! anywhere you want to go.

Me: Really? how bout Paris? I've always wanted to go there!

Mom: Me too! and ok you should probably start packing Thursday.

Me: ok

I finish my breakfast and grab my stuff

Me: Bye mom love you!

Mom: love you too have a good day!

Me: you too!

I walk to my car and get in and start the engine. Did I mention I have a Mercedes? yea it was a 16th birthday present.
