The 1950's

Flash back:
I was in a bar I didn't know where but I think it was Chicago. He was there again. The man I dream about. I was in a white flapper type dress. Stefan was there standing with the man and a blonde hair girl who I also dreamed of before. I felt happy being with the complete strangers. The man and I began to dance. "You look beautiful love." He whispered into my ear. He had a British accent. I heard it before. I looked at him and smiled. "Happy Birthday Lucy." He said to me he said pointing over to the clock. It was midnight. "Thank you." I said. I looked into his eyes they where a deep blue. "You shouldn't be thanking me love." He said before pulling me into a kiss.

Lucy POV
I opened my eyes and sat up. 'That dream is to real.' I thought. I seemed truly happy for the first time. Even Stefan who was in his ripper stage during the 20's. I didn't know the other people but I have to find out.

I walked into my closet and pulled out a pair of jeans and a hippy style tank top. I got dressed very quickly and headed to my car to got to school.

When I got to my locker Jeremy was standing there., "So they dance is tonight...and I thought that maybe you would want to go." He said.

"Of course Pearl Jam!" I said. It was the decade dance most specifically the 50's.

"I'll come and get you then." He said.

Jeremy and I ate lunch together I was really happy with him but I still couldn't shake the dream I had of the man and I. Something told me I should just stay out of it. 'I can't keep thinking about him.' I thought. Maybe I should talk to Stefan he was there anyway.

I was going through my closet to try to find something to wear for the dance. I looked through all my clothes until I finally settled for my leather jacket, leather pants, and black shirt. It was very 'Grease'.

Jeremy was 30 minutes late I began to worry. My phone began to buzz it was Jeremy, "Hey Lucy I'm sorry I'm late, I'm on my way now. Somebody broke into the house and attacked Elena." He said.

'Haha bitch' is all I thought, "That's okay Jeremy is everything okay?" I asked nicely.

"Yeah she's just shaken up Stefan is there now." He said.

With that I hung up and called Stefan.

"Who was it Stefan?" I asked him.

"I don't know he pretended to be the pizza guy."

"Got to give him points on that." I said a little over enthusiastically.

Stefan just sighed, "Are there anymore vampires in town?" he asked.

"Not that in aware of." I lied I just saw Anna.,"Well who ever it is let's kill them! The dance is tonight if they are after Elena they will follow her there and we can get him then. Damon can help."

"That's a good idea Lucy I'll see you there." he said and hung up.

Jeremy pulled into the driveway and I jumped into the car.

I got to the dance and walked over to Stefan while Jeremy got drinks, "I'll look for anything out of the ordinary." I said to him.

Damon was standing in the corner he nodded at me. I walked over to Jeremy, "Here you go Lucy."Jeremy said while I took the drink.

I took a sip and it instantly burned my whole mouth. I spit it back in the cup, "Are you okay?" Jeremy asked looking concerned.

"Yeah...I have to find Damon." I said before turning in the direction of Damon.

"That punch over there is laced with vervain." I told him.

"Great idea isn't it," he smirked.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"My idea, I'm on the councils good side and they don't have a clue we are vampires." Damon said.

I had to give him props. Even though I was mad he didn't tell me and I gave myself third degree burns in my mouth.

Damon and I stood there arguing until we saw someone go into a class room. Damon signaled Stefan over and we went into the hallway. I found a broom and broke it in half using it as a makeshift stake. I followed the vampire into the room and sunk behind him and staked him into the wall. He was still alive because I only staked him in the stomach.

"Who are you?" Stefan asked.

I knew him it was Noah my friend from 1864 when I was still human. I didn't know he was a vampire.

"What do you want from Elena?" Damon asked.

"She looks like Katherine." Noah said.

"You thought you were the only ones that knew her?" Noah asked.

"Noah?" Damon asked as he looked closer, "How do you get into the tomb?" Damon asked.

"I'm not telling you." Noah smirked.

Damon looked pissed and pushed the stake in farther.

"No! stop! the Grimoire! Emily Bennet's Grimoire!" He cried.

"Where is it?" Damon yelled.

"Check Jonathan Gilbert's journal." he moaned.

"Who else is working with you?" Stefan asked.

"Anna." Noah said.

Just then I turned around to see Anna standing in the doorway before she sped away.

"Who else?" I asked bending down to him.

"I'm not telling." Noah said.

I licked my lips, "That's too bad Noah because I really do like you I find you amusing and we were friends in the past but if you won't tell me..." I trailed off before staking him in the heart. Veins began to appear, I knew he was dead.

I went back to the dance with Jeremy. He had a great time. And finally he took he home. I went straight home and got changed for bed. I couldn't sleep something was bugging me. I looked under my bed and pulled out and old box.

"Fuck when was the last time I saw this thing?" I said. I wiped the dust off and opened it slowly. I found letters dating between the 1920-1929. The letter were from a number of people a Rebeka, Kol, Elijah, and Nik. I didn't know any of these names they didn't sound familiar. I know I was drunk, and can't remember most of the 20's but this was a bit bad. I flipped over the letter from a Nik to see a drawing of me. 'This Nik guy must have drawn it' I thought. I looked at a picture of 5 people. One being me. Another girl I was assuming to be the Rebeka from the letters, and the 3 men I assume are the men from the letters. I looked closely at the picture and realize the girl was in my dream last night do was the one man.
