I'm sorry. (NaLu oneshot)

Lucy stared emotionlessly at her reflection, she had been married to Natsu for a while. She had asked him about a child. But he said he just wasn't ready yet. Yet here she was, trying to hide the small bump of a stomach. Lucy bit her bottom lip, then jumped hearing a door click, and creak open.

She turned and pulled her shirt down, trying to bring the bump down a little so he didn't notice. "Ohayo, Natsu." She said with a smile. Natsu looked at her, then smiled. "Mornin' Luce!" He said.

"I am not feeling up to cooking today, so why not eat at the guild?" Natsu sighed sadly, "Man, I really wanted some spicy eggs." "Tomorrow." Lucy promised, giving him a small kiss, before opening the door of their house, to head to the guild.

Natsu followed, a little worried about Lucy. "Lucy, are you OK?" He asked, looking at his beloved Lucy. Her eyes widened, "Yea, why wouldn't I be?" Lucy covered herself with a lie, "Nevermind, I need to catch up with Levy. See ya!" She waved, running off quickly.

Natsu sighed, "She smells different too.. Same vanilla and strawberry, but what else?" He groaned in frustration. "Man!' He roared. He quickly ran towards the guild, ready for his breakfast that Lucy didn't provide for him. "Food always makes me think better-" he paused, "I think."

"Lu-Chan, just tell him." Levy moaned, setting her book down and looking at her blonde best friend. Lucy, almost made her bottom lip bleed, as she felt her eyes water. "He doesn't want a kid, and it is all to late for an abortion." She groaned loudly.

She felt a arm on her shoulder, and she jumped out nod her skin. "Who doesn't want a kid?" She felt her skin pale. Lucy laughed a little, "Just telling Levy about my prologue to my story!" She said, laughing nervously. "Didn't know your story as called, 'Natsu doesn't want a kid, so I am not gonna tell him I'm pregnant.'" Levy whispered to herself.

Though with Natsu's amazing hearing, his eyes widened with dismay, "What does she mean?" He asked, looking at Lucy firmly. She felt her heart shatter under his gaze, "I don't-" "Just tell me!" Lucy sighed, and decided were she wanted to put herself in this situation.

She felt a wave of relief wash over her as Erza called her over. "Coming!" Lucy exclaimed, waving her hand in the air for a spilt second, then getting up to go towards her, luckily Natsu didn't dare stop her.

"Yea, what is up Erza?" "I wanted to know if you could go on a job with me?" Lucy felt a spark of excitement buzz in her, "Sure, when?" She responded, sitting down next to her. "Tomorrow, if that is well with you. I don't have my supplies prepared, I had to sort it all out, and restock my items.. Now it is all mixed up!"

Lucy giggled a little, "Alright!"

Natsu didn't know what to feel at the moment. "Why aren't you all fired up?" Gray grumbled, sitting next to Natsu. "Lucy might be pregnant." He groaned, putting his hands on his forehead. "Are you happy about that, sad, or mad?" Gray asked, his eyes a little wide.

Natsu shrugged, "Shocked really, but I am happy too." He added quickly, "I have just told Lucy that I didn't want too have kids yet, I guess she was just to scared that I would leave her." Gray patted his back, "You should probably talk to someone with more- how should I say- experience?"

"Got that right, probably don't know the first thing 'bout any of this stuff." Gray suddenly butted his forehead into Natsu's, "You saying I am stupid?!" He challenged, "No!!" Natsu said, so much sarcasm in his voice.

Lucy collapsed on her bed that she shared with Natsu every night. She placed a hand on her stomach, groaning. "I am so screwed when he gets back." She heard the front door click, Please be Happy!! She prayed in her thoughts, scared.

"I'm home, Luce! We need to talk!" She heard Natsu's voice, and paled once again for almost the millionth time that day. Lucy turned, and got off the bed, stretching slowly.

Lucy felt two palms and hair brush against her stomach, and she jumped back in shock. "What the hell, Natsu?!" She spat, slapping him away. "Calm down!" He assured her, putting his hands on her stomach, and staring at it. "So, are you sure you aren't pregnant?" He asked, looking up at her.

He saw her scarlet red face, then she turned her head away, "Sorry.' She murmured, tears stinging at the corner of her eyes. Natsu looked back at her stomach, and put his hand on her waist, brushing it against her stomach again. "It is bigger then usual." He pointed out.

"Fine, I am! Please, just don't leave me!" She exclaimed, tears sliding down her cheek. Natsu hugged her stomach, his head pressed against it, "Why would I do that?" He whispered, hugging her gently, but with much passion. "You said-" "I didn't say I would leave you for such a silly reason though." He murmured, getting up and looking at her in the eyes.

Lucy out a hand in her stomach, "Should have told me when you found out, how long have you known?" "3 months.. It was getting harder each day to hide it from you." Lucy chocked on her own words, as Natsu stared at her disappointed. "I just thought.." He looked back down at her bump.

"I should have known, I am such an idiot." Lucy giggled, "Yea, you are." He hugged her stomach again, and she put a hand on his head.

"I love you both." Natsu whispered, loud enough for Lucy to hear though.

So, should I make a second part to this...? I dunno, I don't think I did well on this chapter. I just had a weird dream, and so I changed all of it up except for Lucy being pregnant, and this came out! Arigato for reading Minna!
