Its been a few months after I abandoned Colby Brock. I usually would be the person who would never turn back on my problems and regrets, but this time its different. It was harsh of me to leave both Sam and Colby, after all they love me as their bestfriends. And I love them nothing more. I live at an apartment with Jake now out in Cali. I went to collage and took advance courses, of course that didnt fill an empty void in my heart. Jake suggested that I should go on a blind date.

"Jake I dont think thats a good Idea." I whimpered, trying to talk Jake out of finding me someone who could possibly break my heart as the relationship progresses. Im not to comfortable with the whole 'going on a date with a stranger you have never seen before' thing. Especially since the world we live in is full of criminals. Jake sat on the bed nest to me and held my hand in his. "If you can move to another state, change your name, forget everything that had happened, and move down here with me... Im sure you'll be fine with going on a blind date."

Jake was almost desperate to find me someone. Every time a attractive male would look at me, Jake always asked if I like them. The answer was always no. Im not one to show my feelings toward one opposite of me. I shrugged my shoulders and stared at the stain on the beige carpet. "Aryn... listen to me." His deep voice forced me to look up at him. "I know you've been through a lot of shit... but trust me its" "Jake you're only 18... you know nothing about what im going through." "Actually im almost 19" "Did I ask" I rolled my eyes and looked away. "Hear me out." He growled. Jake was often super annoying at times which made me want to slap him. . "Can you be happy for one day!" I shot a look at him and scoffed, ending it with a chuckle. "Jake Webber... you know nothing about me. Hiding my emotions is the one thing im good at." "Thats not what you were saying when you and sam first met and you were eating eachothers faces." He snickered.

I threw jake on the bed and pinned him down. "How dare you bring that up again!" I yelled in his face. "You know... you're really attractive from this angle." He rolled over and pinned me down. "Do it just once... and if you dont like it then I promise you will never do it again. Okay?" I glanced up at him then looked at the time. Looking back at Jake, I noticed something was off about him. "Are you alright?" I asked. Why was I so concerned about Jake? "Sorta. But dont mind me. You gotta get ready." He quickly replied. I sat up and watched himas he looked through my clothes and sniffled. I didnt bother asking again because I knew he was going to give me a stupid one word answer. "Take a shower. Put this on." He threw the floral dress at me and threw some shoes on the floor. "Im taking you at 7." He simply said and walked out. "What the fuck.." I said to myself. I shook it off and wakled to the bathroom. I stripped down to my underwear and turned on the water, hearing the metal handles squeek and the water shoot to the floor of the shower. I stuck my hand inside, feeling the warmth of the water.

I let the water cool off before peeling my undergarments off and stepping in the shower, feeling the water as it cooled my nerves. I thought for a minute. Just a year ago I was 'in love' with a blonde and brunette. Now im going on a date with someone I've probably never seen in my life. At least thats what I think. I sighed and blew the water. I continued taking a shower and walked out. "Jake where is this place!" I yelled, looking at the different dress on the bed. "And why is the dress different." I said a little lower. Jake walked into the room, sheilding his eyes from me. "Im not naked." I groaned. ""Do you have any clothes on?" "I have a towel..." "Yeah you're naked." "Dont act like we havent seen eachother before, Jake." He looked back at me and shook his head then picked up the dress. "I figured thhis would be better for you... its more comfortable." He showed it to me and smiled. I snatched it out of his hands and pointed to the door. "Out." I slammed the door behind him and stared at the dress. Carefully, I slipped it on. I put on the red hightop converse that Jake picked out and stood in the mirror. "Can I come in?" Jake called. I opened the door and took my hair out the towel, revealing my long brown hair. "Wow..." He breathed. "You look beautiful." Jake continued. I rolled my eyes and walked into the bathroom, begining to put half my hair up into a french braid and leaving the rest of my hair down. I tyed a black ribbon to the bottom of my briad which matched the background of my floral dress. I hairsprayed any peices of my hair that were sticking out and fixed my dress. I looked over at Jake, who was taking in my final appearance. HIs mouth hung open. "Dont get a bonar..." I chuckled, puhsing through him to put on my braclet and rings. I picked up a musical note heart necklace and approached Jake. "Can you help me put this on?" I giggled, showing jake the jewlery. He nodded and took it out of my hands. I took my hair and oushed it to the side so Jake wouldn't get my hair caught in it. He put on the necklace and pulled my hair back to where it was. I turned around and looked up at him. He slowly, leaned forward and placed his lips on mine, rubbing his hands up and down my sides. I smiled under the kiss and looked back up at him. "You're a bad boy, Jake." I giggled. "Am I aryn." He mumbled. I pushed him away and grabbed my wallet. "Ready?" He asked. I nodded and smiled. He wrapped his hand around my waist and pulled me out to the car, opening the door for me. I sat inside and waited for Jake to join. He drove me to this fancy resturant with lights and such. "Good luck." He smirked. I smiled back at him and walked out the car. I approached the door and took a dee breath then opened it to find multiple young men around my age scattered around tables. A woman walked up to me with a bright smile on her face. "You must be Aryn!" She said. I nodded and vaugely smiled. "Follow me." She lead me to a table where two chairs were placed. But one chair was closer to the other. My Chair. I sat down and waited for my 'date' to arrive. I waited for about 3 minutes. In walked a blonde haired boy. About 5'8 or 5'9. I squinted, taking a better look at the kid but his head was down and focused on a rose. He sat down and didnt look up. "This is for you." His voice sounded familliar. "Uh...thanks...w-whats your name?" I stuttered, grabbing the flower out of his hand. He looked up and smiled. "Sam Golbach."
