I couldn't believe my eyes. Laughing jack from my dream was here, standing in front of me. He was real.

My eyes went wide & I opened my mouth to say something but he shot his arms out

"Please don't freak out!"

I calmed down slightly, still in shock.

"I know this looks crazy, but Gold, please listen, I'm not here to hurt you"

"I believe you"

I was surprised I said that but, I did believe it. I didn't think he would hurt me.

"You do?"

"Yes, after all, you saved me"

"Yeah, I guess I did"

He scratched the back if his neck nervously.

"Why so shy?"

"It's just, i don't usually save people.........

"Then what do you do?"

Laughing jack pov

'I can't tell her I kill people! She'll hate me!'

"Usually, I just stay out of it"

"Then why did you save me?"

"Because, you seemed different"

"Different how?"

'Different enough to make me not want to kill you & fall in love with you'

"Just, different"

'Please don't ask again'

"Ok, thank you"

I reached out, unsure, but I hugged her. She hugged back.

"You don't have to always thank me, I'm more than happy to help you"

I saw her smile

'I want her to smile more'

"Wait....."

'Oh dear god, not a 'wait' that's never good'

"I had a dream, & it had you in it. How could you have been in my dream if I had never seen you?"

"Maybe it was a vision"

"No, a few minutes ago you said 'will you keep your promise of not freaking out'? I only promised you that in my dream, so how would've you known that?"

'Shit! She got me! Might as well tell her the truth'

I explained how I'm a creepy pasta, how I can go into people's dreams, & all of my past. Even the killing part.

"Look I know it sounds bad but I would never hurt you!"

I hugged her tight when I said this

"Gold, I-I-I-"

"What is it?

"I wanted you to know that I will always keep you safe"

"Thank you"

"So, your not scared?"

"No I'm defiantly scared, fear just isn't my dominant feeling"

'Dominate feeling? Does that mean she's in love with me? She was about to kiss me last night. But she probably thought that was just a dream. She probably figured that when she woke up it wouldn't matter what she did'

I kissed the top of her head

"I love you Gold"

'No! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! You can't just say shit like that! You've probably just lost what little chance you ever had with her!'

I was just standing there, swearing at myself. Until I heard a small whispered,

"I love you too"

I pulled away, just enough for her to be looking at me. I put my hand under her chin, lifted up her face, & kissed her.
