"Ground Control, ready to launch?" Xavier said into the intercom.
"Yes, launching in 5...4...3...2...1...and we have lift off." And as the rocket shot into the sky Xavier, Jane, Amilea and Kale sat back in there seats, trying their hardest to take in oxygen and keep themselves conscious. The amount of g-force that was being exerted on them didn't matter, they watched the sky get darker and darker and...bam, weightlessness. They gasped for oxygen, and floated. It was unlike anything they've ever experienced before. It wasn't like the drop on a rollercoaster, or being underwater, it had something else to it, it was there, but unexplainable.

"Are you sure you're ready? It's not gonna be easy." Jane said to Xavier.
"Of course I am Jane, everything is gonna be fine, I've already got my training, I've passed the test, you did too. Why are you so concerned about me? Kale is your little brother, worry about him."
"But Xavier, you're my best friend."
"He's your brother!" Xavier laughed.
"He's gonna be fine, you can protect him."
"Ok listen here, just because I have a little crush on him doesn't mean he's my responsibility to watch the guy." He blushed.
"Yes it does, of course it does. You like him, you watch him." Jane said, walking to the fridge.
"I don't think how this works." He smiled and blushed. And he thought of Kale. He drifted off thinking about him, his cute, kind of weirdly shaped face. Skinny, built body, and that cute, high, lisped little voice of his.
"Hey, focus grasshopper." Jane snapped.
"What? Sorry." Xavier said, looking down.
"It's fine, you're just in love." She smirked.
"No I'm not, love is dumb."
"Bull. You're in love and I can prove it: How many times have you blanked thinking about Kale today?" She asked, looking at a clearly blanked and smiling Xavier.
"Bingo." She smiled.
Over at Kale's house he was sitting in his room, playing video games on his PC and whatnot. He watched the screen vigorously, moving his fingers and hand in complex motions just for a high score. He wasn't that much of a raging type, but this game got him fired up. He died, threw his wireless mouse across the room and screamed.
"DAWG I HATE THIS GAME!" He sat down. His looks never matched his personality. Despite being gay, he was quite masculine, or at least he tried to be.
He mom came up. "Died again?"
"Yeah, this game is trash." He huffed.
"Then why don't you delete it or turn off your computer and hang out with your friends? Get your sister and the other two together to hang out before you go off into space." His mom suggested.
"Maybe I'll do that, I don't know if Jane and X are busy, studying or talking and stuff."
"What about Amelia?"
"I don't know, I never know with her."
"Then ask her."
"Alright, I'mma go back to playing first tho, love you bye." Kale said as he put on his headphones.
"Love you too bye." His mom said, walking out the door.
After about an hour of playing he called Amelia.
"Hello?" Amelia asked when she picked up the phone.
"Sup dawg, you doing anything?" He asked.
"Nope, what's up?"
"Wanna hangout with X and Jane? I'm bored as hell."
"Yeah sure, I guess we could go for one last hangout session before we go up into that planet."
"Yeah, I'll call up X and you call up my sis and we can work something out."
"Sounds like a plan." And they both hung up.
