Chapter 1

Savannah POV

I just graduated in Senior High School and my Aunt can't afford my tuition in college so I am currently working in a coffee shop for now.
I need to earn money and save it for my tuition. Want to go to school so I can have a stable job.

Mary is my evil Aunt who marry my father two years ago and after a year, he left us. He passed away. Bronchial Lung Cuncer.

She sell all my dads belongings, we are in an old antique house because she had a lot of people to hide from especially those people from Casino.

Soon as I entered house I saw her reading magazine and she notices me

"I've got a good news for you young lady"
She gave me a fake smile

She handed me an envelope

Soon as I read whats on the piece of paper she spoke

"You will going to marry Ethan Clarke Alexander.. it was destined.. i guess? Hmm its on the paper"

My eyes widened.

It'a a contract?!

What the hell is this?!

I just froze there staring at the paper

"Hey bitch" Mary slap me that made me wake up from daydreaming. That was big one.

"Listen to me you idiot! You're going to marry that multi billionaire. Its in the contract"

I just close my eyes and left her there and went to my room to change clothes.

What an unlucky day to me as usual.

Tired of seeing my Aunt face anymore. She was mean, manipulated and arrogant.

She loves gambling at the casino and spend all my Dads money. Now we have nothing. She treats me like more than a slave!

I made a dinner for us and left when shes done.

"Next time, cook some chicken or any normal food" she said

"We can't even afford to buy one" she rolled her eyes

"Well then young lady! Do something. I want Pasta tomorrow or else you'll dead"

She shut the door behind me and I heard her cars starts engine.

I ponder and think about leaving this place!

But I promise my Dad to stay with her no matter what!

When he still alive, Mary doesnt like me. She always making up stories to Dad that him made me scolded.

She hates me so bad and I cant help it.

My shift ended at exactly 4pm, I ask my boss if I could have my advance salary and so she approved it.

I headed to grocery store to buy ingredients for Pasta that Mary said.

I arrived at home at exactly 6pm and I saw a two Range Hover parked in front of our house.

They were 4 men standing at the car like they are waiting for someone

"Excuse me? Uhm what is going on here? Who are you Sir?" I ask one of them. They are all tall. I'm only 5'3 footed.

"Are you Ms Savannah Johnson?" He asked me

I nod

"My boss is looking for you Miss, he's inside of your house"

I hurry inside and there I saw Mary talking to an old lady? Who is wearing like from a Royal family. She look so nice.

"Oh there she is"

They turned their look at me who is standing with my groceries on my hand

"H-Hi?"

The old lady stood up from the chair and walked to me

"So you must be Savannah? Roberto's only daughter?"

I look at Mary and she just raised her eyebrows and roll her eyes.

I nod
"Yes mam, awho are you? And how can I help you"

I ask and she hugged me

"Just call me Rosie, Rosie Alexander. We are here to see you, and your approvement to your incoming wedding to my son Ethan"

I was shocked

So this is really true?

"I'm sorry, but? What are you talking about Mam?"

She looks at Mary

"Uhh. Yes Mam, she already knew that right Savannah?" She walked to me and pinch my back that made me growl of pain

"Oh okay. Darling you look so beautiful like your mother"

Actually, Rosie is my bestfriend's mom. She passed away to a car accident when I was a little and that was my Dad said.

"Saturday, you will going to marry my only son Ethan" she said and she smiled at me

She handed me a box of jewelry and a box of a dress

"Wear them tomorrow. We are inviting you to come to our Mansion to celebrate for you both, I know sweetie this is going to be hard for you but trust me. You'll be fine, Your mother and I made a contract and we signed them and we need to follow that since she already passed away. I'm just doing this for your mother desired"

After deep conversation with Rosie, she finally said goodbye to me.

I was completely speechless the whole time. My mind stuck in thinking my marriage on Saturday.

It'll be weird because I did not even met this guy Ethan. How can I marry a stranger?

Mary was silence and never spoke to me that night

I looked at my dress which is really looking so expensive.

It was beautiful.

And I dont know what is going to be happen to me. But Im sure things will be better soon. Everything will be fine. I know my mom and dad always guides me
