The fall sun casted a golden glow over everything, half blinding me in the process. My converse rolled along the pavement, my black leggings and sweater failing to keep me very warm. Blocking the sun out of my eyes with one hand, dog leash in the other, I looked at my friend Kayla, "We're doing it again."
She pulled her sleeves over her hand, and tried as best as she could with the other to cover her hand, but the leash got in the way. Her brown ponytail flicked as she turned her head, "Doing what again."
I gestured up the road we we're walking the dogs on, "Don't you see the marks on the road?"
She cocked her head to the side, "What on Earth are you talking about?"
I groaned, jumping on the edge of the bridge we had come to, "We're in the rut again. I'm surprised we haven't litterally left marks."
She followed my lead, jumping on the edge of the bridge and walking her way down it as I was. The dogs lazily trotted along side. "Yeah, I guess you're right. School, jog, eat, sleep, repeat."
I step back down onto the road, "My point. We need to do something."
She snapped her figures, pointing at me, "Remember our bucket list?"
I nodded. Last year we created a bucket list we never completed, "Yeah what about it?"
She started to get a little excited, "We can make a glorified version of it. With like, steps and stuff."
I nodded, "Good idea, let's take the dogs back to your place. We can discuss this over some cocoa at my house."

Hi! This is kind of just a base line chapter to show what started the story... it'll get better. But until then,
