Chasing

With each step i felt the heavy soles of me feet thud on the floor.my breath unstable and unsteadily bouncing in my chest.my view was straight ahead, dilated pupils fixed on the door thats seemed so far off.Then i heard them.The familiar footsteps.Pounding behind mine getting faster and closer with each of my jagged breaths.Time slowed and the air cruelly got trapped in my throat.In one last desperate attempt i stretched my hand out,fingers aching for the touch of the cold metal handles and my face wanting the cool breeze of freedom again.

Then i felt it.A sharp numb sensation hit my head sending me against the wall with my arms absorbing most of the damage.My limp body fell to my knees which were already grazed and scarred.Hot air shot from my mouth quickly as i processed what happened.I couldn't feel the pain at first with the hype and adrenaline coursing through my panicked systems.As i recalibrated, it slowly spread.It was sharp and burning.The feeling rapidly made its way around my skull wrapping my head in a dizzy pain, blinding my other senses as my weak body tried  to fight the deadly wound now etched into my head.

I felt cool liquid falling slowly down my face like red rivers pooling and pooling onto my lap and dry,shivering hands.I hadn't even realized the heavy tears that stained my exhausted cheeks.My throat was empty and cold,i couldn't scream or speak as my voice trembled in agony.

A cackle like laughter erupted a few inches from me causing my heavy head to painfully jolt up.My wet eyes narrowed in on a figure no taller than my self.She had her hands over her head maniacally screaming almost.It slowly stopped and her hands slung to her sides against the black hoodie that covered her thin torso.Cautiously,she crouched down with her face a mere millimeter away from mine which trembled and was a bright pink with oxygen debt.It was know i noticed the enormous insane grin that was plastered from ear to ear on her pale,skinny face.

Swiftly,my eyes met her dark soulless eyes.hesitantly a cold hand gripped my cheek and violently ripped my head up to see the ceiling and flickering lights.Her nails were long and sharp digging into my already pained skin.
"This was too easy..."
She breathed out an element of joy stuck in her tone still.I felt my heart beat lodged in my deserted,rough throat and my head throbbed in pain as i prayed for a miracle.Anything!
"I've rendered you speechless...."
She echoed slowly edging closer to me.
"Im flattered really"
She uttered continuing to giggle like a school girl afterwards.Then again she was.By now i had registered who this was.A girl in my class who sat in front.She seemed so normal and so smart.I didn't understand and apparently that was obvious.
"Ill explain my motives as cause gonna be dead soon anyway.."
Her lazy and coarse voice felt like sandpaper against my ears.
A large sigh broke the dragged on silence.
"I DON'T HAVE ANY!"
She screamed her voice now shrill and squeaky.My tears grew stronger and my body was numb with pain and fear.I felt my stomach twist and my bones freeze.petrified.

I was going to die for no reason.Except for the pleasure of this sadistic kid!I felt more roll down my face as silent sobs resonated in  my throat.I heard her lick her cracked lips calmly followed by a thin metal against my scared,frozen neck.

Every hair on my body stood on end and everything instantly shut down as i stuttered cries and let blood pour down my chin.
"See ya!"

The last words i heard.That cheerful tone and careless voice.It made my muscles ache in anger and regret.I remember it vividly.The steel on my neck and then the warmth of the blood spraying like a fountain out.Then Silence.Nothing

Death.
