Chapter 8

When the shock left your body, you followed the trail of blood to the bathroom door that was slightly open. You pushed the door open a bit and your heart stopped once again.

There was an unconscious (Y/C/N) with blood seeping down his leg.

You rushed from your spot and kneeled down at their side. You applied pressure on the wound causing (Y/C/N) to jerk awake. They hissed in pain looking up at you. Their eyes widened in fear and tried to scoot away from you, only for them to scream in pain from shifting their leg. You reached out to touch their leg but they flinched away from you.

Sadness and guilt washed across your face but you still reached out to them. When your fingers made contact with their pant leg, it incinerated its self but you made sure that you didn't burn (Y/C/N). When all the fabric was gone, you took an x-ray look at the wound.

There was a bullet lodged in his knee. Right where the two joints meet. You looked at (Y/C/N) and they could automatically tell by your face that something was wrong. "What is it?" They asked, worry laced in their voice.

You sighed not knowing how to explain this without them not freaking out. "The bullet is lodged in your knee, right where the two bones meet. So there's two ways I can do this, I only have so much energy left so I can either use my powers to put you under so that you can't feel anymore pain but I'd have to take you to a hospital-"

"And we'd have to answer questions."

"Yeah. The second option is that I can use my powers to take out the bullet but-"

"It'd hurt."

"Like a butt-cheek on a stick."

(Y/C/N) chuckled softly. "Watch your profanity."

You both chuckled softly but your smile fell when (Y/C/N) hissed in pain. You sighed and looked them dead in the eye. "So, what do you choose."

They hesitated but before they could answer, a voice cut them off.

"What if they don't have to?"

Sorry this is really short but at least I'm updating more often and things are getting a little more interesting. It's almost midnight over here and I've had a really long week with not a lot of sleep. So I'm gonna head to bed now.
