BANANA PIKLETS

Hey Girls

These are so good I tried them last night and they were amazing! Once you have one you’re hooked! Try adding fresh fruit or different topping combinations on them to make it interesting!

Ingredients:

2 cups self-raising flour

1 pinch salt

3/8 cups sugar

1 1/2 tbsp. butter melted

2 egg (chicken) beaten

1 1/2 cups milk

2 banana mashed

Method

STEP 1 Sift self-raising flour and salt into a bowl.

STEP 2 Whisk in sugar, butter, eggs and milk until smooth.

STEP 3 Add mashed bananas and stir mixture well.

STEP 4 Heat a frying pan with a little oil or butter and pour batter to form small circles.

STEP 5 When pikelets bubble on top, flip and cook the other side until brown.

Notes:

Can be eaten warm or cold, plain or with any type of topping you like.

Great for snacks for kids or in school lunches. Use butter or margarine.
