The Tree Of Life

Hi my name Is Thomas Young and I'm going to tell how my mother was addicted to drugs. And how I found the Lord and my mother did too.

Well when my mother was 16 teen years old both her parents were killed in a bank robbery. So she was turned over to the state where they put her into a group home. While in there she befriended a male staff name Robert. He took her under his wings told her a bunch of lies how if she was to come live with him that he would take good care of her.

Buy her any and everything she would need. She believed him so one night when everyone in the building was sleep and Robert was getting off work she packed her clothes and left with him. He took her to his grandmother's house where he stayed in the basement. A week after she got settled in Robert came home from work early while she was in the kitchen making his grandmother's dinner because she could no longer do for her self.

Robert said when she was done he needed to speak to her. She said okay. He went down into the basement and she went on to finish up with his grandmother. When she was done she went down into the basement and sat down on the bed next to Robert. Where he was sitting with his face in his hands. She asked him what was wrong? He took his hands down off his face and looked at her a said that he just lost his job and he doesn't know how they were going to live without any money coming in.

And the money that he was getting for taking care of his grandmother was not going to be enough. He then took her by the hand and starts telling her how he loves her, he would do anything for her even die for her. And again she fell for his lies. He told her that he had a plan and he would need for her to do somethings that she was not going to like but it wouldn't last long because he would be getting another job to take care of them soon.

With a shaky voice she ask what would she have to do? He said I have this friend that is having a party tonight and they are in need of a little dancer and maybe a little more. But we won't know until we get there and he said they would pay big. She said okay because she trusted him with her life. He got up from the bed kiss her on the forehead and said he would be right back he had to find out what time they needed to be there.

She said okay as He headed up the stairs. A half hour passed and he finally came back down but he was not alone he had some young girl with him. He told her that the girl was a long time friend of his and she would be coming along with them and she had something for her to wear. She said okay he went back up stairs the young girl put her bag on the table next to the bed and took out a couple things for her to try on.

When she finally found something she put it on and both her and the young girl went up stairs to find Robert. When they got up there Robert was just coming in the back door. He looked her over and with a great big smile he said you look very good. She said thank you as her heart race and fear was all over her face. Robert walked over to the cabinet took two glasses out set them on the counter went into another cabinet and took out some wine.

He poured it in both cups and handed the glasses to them and said drink up. They both took the glasses and drank the wine when they were done he went into his pocket pulled out a little clear plastic bag with white substance in it. He then took his pinky finger and dipped it into the bag and put some of the substance on it and told the young girl she knew what to do. She took his pinky finger pulled it close to her nose and the substance went into her nose.

He dipped in it again and this time he told my mother that this would help her feel good. And she took the substance up her nose too without thinking because she was already feeling good scenes she had drank the wine that he gave them. A little while after she was right where he wanted her to be high and feeling good. So he then took both of them by the hands and lead them out to his car and they headed to the party.
